We needed a plumber in a little bit of an emergency last week. I picked Tanner plumbing (Dave Tanner) based on recommendations on the wakefield community Facebook page, and I have to say, he was beyond amazing. He was honest, straightforward, got the job done in a timely manner, communicated well. While fixing our hot water heater, he noticed that our heating furnace was broken, and took the time to point it out to me and explain what was wrong. We had just had it serviced, so I called back the company that serviced it and demanded they fix it (for free). He made sure we had working fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors --- he went above and beyond and will now be our go-to guy for any and all plumbing needs!

I bought a salvaged farm-sink/console for the bathroom and Tanner Plumbing came out for a 8am appt 10 min early, in clean boots that didnt track mud on the floor, pad down on the bathroom and installed a Moen faucet into a b*tch of a sink with zero complaints, realized the sink wasn't level, added shims, leveled it multiple times, made everything work, praised my choice (bc hey, who doesnt want positive feedback), was great to my kids without talking down to them (all 3), had a terrific sense of humor and took the time to look at a separate issue that I desperately needed taken care of but forgot to mention in the call. He also offered some education and insight as to the best way to deal with the issues we have in our 140 year old home and never sounded condescending.

Dave has helped us on at least three different occasions and each time I was very happy with the result. He has returned our calls promptly and been both professional and fairly priced. It can be hard to find a contractor that you like and trust. I highly reccomend Dave!
