Initially I thought the work performed was ok. They came out 3x due to an issue with the AC unit. They failed to inform me of a leak I had yet they informed the warranty company but at no time did anyone think to speak to me abs let me k is so it can be handled. One this is a covered issue and 2 why wouldn't that be shared with me the actual owner. Now fast forwarding a year later the leak has to be fixed of course because we are dealing with the exact same problem.

I had a leaking PVC pipe that was taking water runoff from the air conditioning unit in my house. Douglas Fischer was the technician on the job. He was great with sending me texts about what time he would come. He was punctual, fixed the leak and also fixed some other PVC pipes that were weakened. He was very neat. He texted me a day or two after to make sure it was working and no more leaks-- I have never had a technician text or call me in followup to make sure the situation was fixed! I really appreciated his work and he answered all my questions, and did not mind me watching him as he worked-- I like to learn from these visits!

I was also referred to Tanknot through my home warranty program and was in touch with Dave and he put us in contact with service technician, Doug who was knowledgeable, professional and punctual. Circuit board needed replacing and Doug had to order one and when the part arrived he had it installed in 30 minutes. Super nice gentleman like Dave. I would not hesitate using them outside my home warranty program.

Tanknot was assigned to me by my home warranty after I was getting no response from another repair company. Dave was responsive and was able to get a technician out same day. My warranty company commissioned Tanknot to fix my furnace. The technician Made 3 visits to my house and each time he had the Wrong parts.

My furnace is now left disassembled and not working and the company will not return my calls, texts or email. We have been without a furnace for 3 weeks during record cold weather. WTF

My home warranty assigned my claim to this company. Tanknot sent a plumber named Doug out. He showed up on time, was fast, efficient, and most importantly careful not to let my cat outside. It took awhile for the part to come in but Doug was great about giving me updates. Once the part finally arrived, he scheduled return trip right away to install it. He followed Covid safety protocols and properly wore a mask. Super pleasant to work with and low stress. Very happy with the results. Would happily use them again.

Tanknot is terrific, I highly recommend them. I lost hot water for the entire house and family. I received a call back from David within hours, and he helped me diagnose the problem. Instead of trying to sell me an installation, he literally advised me to knock a valve with a screwdriver. That practice alone got me another 15 months of use out of that existing tankless. When it finally was time for a replacement, Tanknot's estimate was so much less than the competition, I felt guilty! Finally, 15 months after the installation, I was having a problem with the hot water running out after about 6 minutes. I texted Doug, my installer, who thought I might be able to handle it myself without having to wait for a visit. He was right -- he texted me through the whole process, and now it is working normal. I am very grateful for their responsiveness, and they are ready to help.

In short, Doug is an angel sent from the universe to bring joy to humans suffering from broken water heaters. Our Takagi tankless water heater decided quite suddenly to drop its last name and ceased producing hot water.

The first plumber we called (We'll call him Plumber A), evaluated the machine and insisted we would need three parts totalling $1k. ""Even then,"" he said, his beady eyes darting, ""I might have to install a new control panel for an additional 2k. He then went on to assure me that a brand new system would be the smarter move and it would cost me a mere.....drumroll please.....$6250!!???!!! Holy crap I'm in the wrong business.

Moving on to Plumber B; My angel in disguise, Doug from Tanknot. He spent an hour tinkering with the Takagi before telling me that we only needed a new igniter assembly part. He had one in stock and, after a brief drive to the office, Doug returned and installed the part within a few minutes.

Total cost including labor: $250
Total peace of mind including gratitude: Priceless.

Doug is worth ten thousand of the other crooks out there!

Our tankless water heater gave out last night and we we found ourselves with no hot water in the house. I contacted David at 7:30 pm and he answered and set up an appointment for us the very next day. Doug arrived on time the next day with a new heater. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient and it set up in record time. The price was very reasonable and half the cost of other bids I got. I would highly recommend David, Doug and Tanknot to anyone wanting to install a tankless water heater in their home.
