Andy is an old-time plumber who understands quality plumbing and customer service. He's like your uncle who offers to help, except he KNOWS HOW to help and does. He cleaned and trouble-shot our Norwitz tankless water heater. He came on time, prepared and delivered. He understood and fixed shortcuts taken by the plumber who installed the unit in a substandard manner. When the unit failed to work properly after his repair, he came back, and found the problem- which he thought he had addressed. He was apologetic for missing the fix, provided great service and backed his work - no charge as I had expected. Andy is a stand-up guy. I highly recommend him.

Andy called me back within a few minutes on a Saturday of a long holiday weekend when others presumably weren't working. (No one else has returned my calls yet, and Andy has already come and gone!)

We had a semi-emergency with a leaking garbage disposal and had been putting off replacing it for months. We had bought the replacement garbage disposal but would have taken my husband half a day to install so we'd been procrastinating.

Andy quoted me $125 on the phone and said it would take an hour. He came through on all the promises. We would recommend him to others in our area. He was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, helpful and fair. Great service all around.

I called Andy Bello Plumbing when a stubborn toilet in my place of business simply wouldn't unclog even after I used a closet auger. I called Andy in the morning and he came out later that same day! He worked on the toilet for a long time using his tools and kept me informed of everything that happened as he did his work. He was able to fix the toilet with a super long auger and having to remove the toilet. He repaired everything nicely and left the bathroom clean! His price was very fair (I have a plumber friend who informs me of what prices should be) and Andy was friendly to work with. I am happy to support his business as he is local. Thanks Andy!

I can assure you I left messages and emails (two of each) with perfectly clear contact information, but no response whatsoever.

When I first left Andy Bello Plumbing a 1 star review, I felt a little bad since it was solely based on his poor customer service. Now nearly nine months later he has written a response to my review (just in case he gets clever and deletes his post):

""Bo hoo Ryan sorry but as I advised you if it was raining which it was and very heavly that you would have to wait a little longer for your non emergency call. and also Ramona is realy out of my service area but i would try to help you weather permiting. I am glade you found someone to make your repairs""

Once I got through all the spelling errors of a third grader, I decided it was only fair that I respond. If Andy had made any mention of not servicing Ramona or made any indication there could be delays due to weather, I would have not felt right about leaving 1 star. However, the first thing I asked when I called was if he would service Ramona and he eagerly said sure. I had tried other plumbers who were not willing to come to Ramona, so it was an issue I wanted to check right away. There was zero mention of any possibility of a delay based on weather. We just set an appointment time and that was it. Also, I am quite impressed that Andy is able to remember how the weather was that exact day now that it is nearly nine months later. I do not remember if weather could have been an issue or not, but I suspect the weather did not prevent him from letting me know that he was several hours later than he had told me initially.

This was a nice attempt to make yourself look like you earned an unjust 1 star, but now I feel the need to go one step further and suggest to fellow Yelpers that they use Quantrell Plumbing. I used Quantrell Plumbing when Andy failed my expectations of proper customer service. Quantrell Plumbing exceeded my expectations and I have even used them again on an unrelated plumbing need.

A couple of months ago I was packing my bags for a flight when I noticed our water heater was leaking. I needed a plumber fast so gave Andy a call as I saw he was local. He said he was on another job but would be around within the hour. Within thirty minutes he arrived, made things safe, started draining the tank & told me the options. After deciding on the replacement, he went & got the new tank, came back & had completed the installation within four hours of the initial phone call. I made my flight on time.

Very pleased with the service & will not hesitate to use Andy in the future.
