Tamalpais Plumbing/ Chris was exceptional. We had an extremely difficult and urgent situation and he got right on it. Chris spent painstaking hours listening to us, problem solving, and did not stop until he figured it out. Many times I said, ""I don't blame you if you want to quit"". And he said No we're going to figure this out. And he did. All in a really quick time frame. Blown away. Had at least 5 other plumbers here who could not, or did a crappy job of jerry-rigging. Tamalpais Plumbing, and Chris are exceptional.

My toilet stopped working properly and when you have only one it can be a bit challenging. Chris came out and got it back working the way it should! Chris is very pleasant and professional and knows his plumbing having been in the business for a long time. Arrived on time, kept the price reasonable and answered all of my questions. Tamalpais Plumbing is my new go to plumber!

I definitely would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I bought a
new 50 Gal hot water heater in January 2020 for over $3400. It started making loud noises every time the hot water was turned on in the house.
I spoke with Victor who identified himself as the owner. I wanted his company to come out and check and repair it . He kept telling me it was no longer under warranty. I didn't care about the warranty, only thought they
could work on it since they installed. He again kept talking about the
warranty. I just wanted it fixed which he refused to come out. I will never
use this company again, and also told the real estate agents that referred me the situation. This company obviously does NOT stand by the products they
install. Such a waste of time and money. I am going through another company and buying a new water heater.

Not an honest plumber. As other reviews have pointed out, they hook you with their $50 off + free hot water flush promotion and then don't honor it. I responded to this promotion and the owner came out and told me he needed a part for a shower faucet repair. I presented the coupon and 6 months later and at least three follow up conversations and he has never come back to complete the repair and honor the coupon.

We've had Chris do two projects now and both were reasonably priced and done perfectly. He is prompt, clean and informative in deciding what to do, providing an estimate and doing the job. He even rearranged some other work to do it on our best day. We only use Tamalpais plumbing!

Chris replaced my old water heater today. He was prompt, professional and efficient. He quoted me a price at the beginning of the job and charged me the same amount. When I contacted Tamalpais Plumbing two days ago about the job, I received a call back within minutes. Chris understood the urgency of replacing the old unit and arrived at my house at the requested time. I highly recommend this business.
