TAM Sewer & Drain Cleaning

I am currently renting property, and my garbage disposal suddenly stopped working. I notified my landlord who sent out TAM plumbing to fix the problem. The repairman was here for 5 minutes and then left without explaining anything or showing any proof of the problem. A month later I get an invoice from TAM plumbing for $160.00. They claim it was a potato peel that made a garbage disposal stopped working. I do not cut potatoes in my sink. I also failed to see how 5 minutes of work to basically restart a garbage disposal costs $160.00. This man literally came in, looked under the sink, flipped the rest button and left, then lied about it. Unless you want to get money gouged and SCAMMED by this company, I would suggest looking elsewhere for your plumbing and repair needs.

TAM plumbing came out on Christmas Eve to fix our plumbing problem before our guests arrived. So thankful an appreciative that they were available. Awesome job!

If you want a plumber that doesn't keep appointments, when they finally show up don't have all their tools, quotes you one thing and then charges you another amount, can't provide a professional invoice and charges way too much.... these plumbers are for you. After all said and done you will be referring to them as D.A.M.N plumbers, not Tam plumbers.

If allowed I would give them 1/4 of a Star, maybe less.

These guys are great. We had a whole-house sewer drain issue a few years ago, and another (famous) drain company could reach it...and recommended TAM. They fixed is up then, and yesterday we had the same issue - so I went direct to TAM this time. Shawn came the same day, and needed an extension (140 feet total)...but got it done.

My only quibble - they're not inexpensive. But they come fast, work hard, and get the job done.

1. We set an appointment for the following day, but on the way from another job the plumber was able to show to take care of us now. Yes please!

2. Fast, clean and extremely efficient. The technician went beyond the clog, and cleaned all the way to the main line to insure the line was clear, not just stopping at the problem.

3. Took the time to give more than a few tips how keep the drains clear, and help prevent future buildup. I'm saving this company for every plumbing need we might have in the future.

4. We have a Lab and a Rottie and he was fantastic with our dogs; big plus in my eyes.

5. Was competitive on pricing, and did not over-charge or attempt to push unnecessary services. I appreciate they are a family run, local business. My husband is a business owner, and we prefer to support other small business owners as well.

This is a reliable small business in Garland, that has 40 years of experience. They were professional, and they fixed my stopped up sewer line. They took away my worries. Glad, I could get an estimate for my needs by phone. They saved me $$$, compared to the big plumbing companies. I would use them again. The Roto Rooter company couldn't give me a rough estimate by phone.....hmmmm!
