I highly recommend Taku Plumbing and Heating and Geno! On the day it snowed for the first time, I found myself awake to a very chilly house, and realized the boiler was not working while we slept. I called Taku Plumbing and Heating that morning, and Geno was able to come the same day. Geno worked fixing our boiler for many hours to make it functional again which had significant soot buildup and other problems. Geno is committed to working for as long and late into the night as it takes to fix the problem. Geno is very skilled, approachable, and he was sincerely focused on getting our heat back.

He is committed to keeping our outdated (and dying) boiler going through the winter, so that we 1) don't have to change our heating system in the middle of winter and 2) have time to research what our next heating system will be. We are so grateful to Geno for his help!

Additionally, that we have also called on Geno for fixing a toilet leak, and he did an excellent job, and his rates are fair. I appreciate your help, Geno!

I had my boiler cleaned, and it works just fine. The cleaning took about an hour. We are looking to connect a water heater, and we will have Taku Plumbing and Heating do it when they can come.

My experience with Taku Plumbing and Heating was quite disappointing. They charged an outrageous hourly rate of $191. I was billed for much more time than the actual work done. They failed to fix the problem and made no effort to rectify the situation after billing me over $2,000.

After asking for a detailed account of labor and materials, I received no response. He also did not follow up with me. After a month of silence, he shockingly sent me a finance charge for 2 hours of labor, bringing my total to $382. I received a 15% finance charge, and I wonder if this is lawful. I do not recommend Taku Plumbing and Heating.
