This company's prices are insanely high. They came to my house and wanted to charge me $2800 to switch out my bathroom faucet with a new one that I had already purchased and to remove a garbage disposal from under my kitchen sink. Beware!

At first I liked the service and price for an emergency I had on 5/29 got repaired.(2200) I was ok with that because I had leaking and damage form upstairs toilet. Called them again to unclog a drain, good price 79 for that., told Jake about my second basement toilet that a previous plumber looked at and quoted me close to 4000 to tear up concrete and put in new pipes to repair the old one (it was cemented in) I told Jake I was considering repairing it but could not afford what the other plumber quoted. He looked at it, said it really did not look like it would cost that much. He did say he could not be exact once he tore up the toilet, but he said even that would not cost as much as the other guy. Jake told me about their toilets, how they are the best, guaranteed for 10 years and worth it to go that direction, the price was about 1000. I even bought a membership for their preferred customers 299 (preferred status, 10percent off future stuff) because I hoped this relationship worked because I needed a new shower conversion as well. He came tore it up and said I need new pipes, and more concrete removed. I said how much for everything to do that too. He said 2900. Holy cow, but still lower than last guy, I said ok. He said he had to come back next day, left the new toilet and asked for a check for work done that day the 1000. I said then I pay the other 1900 later, no that 2900 was on top of the other 1000. He said he misunderstood me when I asked for the total for everything-he said he thought it was total for that next part of the job?? He said that it was the price Taggart had in place for this job. So 3900. At this point there is a hole, I have no back up toilet in a home with a person with dementia and special needs, I need that toilet. I told him if I would have known the price was even going to be near that amount I would have never started without saving up for it. He stated ""oh it is the prices Taggart says"" I asked him, if those were the prices and we talked about it before hand that I cannot afford it why would you not tell me? Now I am without a toilet, job halfway done, just do it. Next day I have to work, he calls me and says that he now put a camera into pipe and there is a break down the line, sent a picture. So to repair it right it is another 10000 on top of that. So 13390. He said he could do another semi perm fix for 6000 instead to ""save me"" some cash. So that would drop it to 9900. I really am in tears at this point. So I asked if you stop everything now, take back the toilet, how much, he says oh I could save you that 1000, but it is 2900.( So previously- Even with a broken pipe the toilet would flush, it was only used in emergencies.) SO I had 2 choices, him walk away with job started and cap the pipe, fill the concrete in myself, or have him finish the concrete put the toilet on and hope I can use it in emergency again. SO I ate it and said just put the concrete in and toilet and I have to pray that this is not going to get worse before I can get cash to fix things. 5 min later he calls me again and says he brought wrong toilet, so its 430 and he does not have the time to get what is needed, he would return 3 days later. Now my belongings are all piled up, furniture moved around. Preferred is not preferred at all. Well Thursday comes, I get a call at work that he had an emergency ( it happens) but now since people are on vacation no one can come out until Tuesday. So let my very tough lessons be a lesson for you. Do not trust what they say. If you pay for membership it is only worth it for a HUGE project for the 10 percent because I was not treated in a preferred way. Jake says Taggart has precise costs for things ask for it all upfront for your worst case scenario so you are informed. I would have never did this knowing the costs could have gone up this high. Get camera inspections before you do anything in an old home.

Highway robbery! They should be ashamed of themselves! Quoted us $1,015 for a $300 job. That doesn't include the $115 they charge just to come out. Which btw doesn't go toward the cost of the job IF you hire them. I question the legitimacy of all their five star reviews.

We needed a dye test for a real estate transaction. They got us on the schedule quickly and the technician showed up on time and completed their work in a timely manner.
They texted to let us know when the tech was dispatched and confirm the ETA.
They also took the time to send us a hand written thank you for our business along with a small gift after the job was done which is a nice touch.
I would definitely recommend them to look at your project/needs.

Told me his schedule was full before even talking to me....poor attitude service...wouldn't waste my time

On time, courteous, gave excellent explanation of work needed to be done and then completed the work beyond my expectations and in a timely fashion. Highly recommend, will definitely use again!

I am selling a home and for some reason the buyer insisted on using this company for an HVAC inspection. At the time they arrived, I had already had 2 inspections of the HVAC system and both checked out fine other than stating that the air handler needed to be cleaned. Taggart confirmed the ages of the heating and A/C systems and confirmed that the systems were working properly, which is what they were supposed to do, but added a ton of superflous, conflicting and deliberately frightening sounding information to the report, claiming that the ducting, furnace and electrical were installed incorrectly and that dust may have damaged the furnace circuit board. (Hello? Ever open up an old computer? Dust is perfectly normal.) This was AFTER a building inspector said that the installation meets code and is identical to every other installation in this neighborhood plan. This was AFTER 2 other HVAC inspections said the HVAC is fine. Even though the Taggart report says that the system is working properly, in the last sentence, the taggart technician recommended that the system be updated. A 2 year old A/C system and a 10 year old furnace (with a 20-25 year life) needs to be updated? Really? My only conclusion can be that a) Taggart knew that the conflicting information would upset the buyer, possibly generating more work for Taggart, b)Somebody at Taggart is friends with the buyer and was told to be as negative as possible, (even though I'm paying for the srervice), or c)Taggart is just fishing for additional business by writing a report that sounds as frightening as possible even though they could not deny that the HVAC system is working correctly.) I will not be using this company again and would have a very hard time recommending them except, perhaps, to home buyers who want to beat up the seller over an ambigous inspection report. Not recommended.

Called them out for emergency service on A/C on a Friday evening. Visca arrived quickly and worked efficiently. He explained how he diagnosed the problem and how he could repair it before starting to replace anything. The cost was much less than expected, a welcome surprise. We will not hesitate to call them again if we need to. Highly recommend!!!
