My Monday started with my kitchen sink backing up. Yippee! I am a dyi kind of woman so I took a look at it - made a couple of attempts ended up with a mess and decided to try a professional this time. Looked at Yelp found T.A. Roberts Co. with great reviews. Calles at 7:55. Todd said he could get here at 9:30 arrived at 9:20 resolved my issue in about 30 minutes and charged a reasonable fee. Very personable and professional. Should I have a requirement for a plumbing contractor, that bathroom is hopefully being remodeled next year, I would definitely call T.A. Roberts Co.

Best plumber in Alameda bar none. I've tried many of them and always return to Todd for all my plumbing needs and will do so for the foreseeable future.

Todd stands by his work, is very professional and having grown up around the construction business it is clear to me that he is at the top of his trade.

Todd works around my schedule, is responsive and communicative and gets sh*t done!

Couldn't ask for more. It's hard to find good professionals and when I done, I am loyal loyal loyal. When we move to a bigger house, and turn our current house into a rental, you can be sure we will be using Todd for our plumbing needs in both our rental and our residence.

Had a few minor plumbing issues to deal with in a new/old house we just moved into. With all the other home projects completed or in progress I just got tired of thinking about another project to work on. Found Todd on Yelp and saw all the great reviews. Needless to say, he lived up to them.

Had Todd and Marquise (sp?) come over to help with a re-plumb of a p-trap, remove and install 2 new master bath faucets, and a quick removal and capping off of a hot water tap in the kitchen. They were efficient and Todd was always communicative and polite. In the end the price was fair and the work was good. Beware of their banter. It's worse than a bad married couple but more amusing.

Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

I was in the crawl space this past weekend and found an unpleasant surprise - a leak in the waste pipe extending from our toilette. It was a slow leak from a very old pipe and unfortunately it was leaking over the wood foundation.

I found Todd on Yelp and couldn't agree more with all of the favorable reviews. He picked up the phone on a Sunday. He was out with his son but indicated he would stop by later in the afternoon to look at the issue. He showed up at the time he communicated.

It was a bigger job than I anticipated. The stucco has to be removed to do the repair work. However the price quoted was reasonable. We scheduled some time a couple days later to get the work done.

Todd and his colleague were on time. As Todd got into the work he found some other issues - the toilet was not properly installed by the previous owner. This caused some additional complexities for the repair. Regardless, the work was done that day and for the price stated.

I found out Todd is practically a neighbor and lives very close by. It is great to work with a professional who is part of the community. Todd is a stand up guy. I highly recommend giving Todd a call if you are unfortunately in need of a plumber.

Another 5 star review. I found Todd on Yelp. Called him, he actually answered, and was here less than 30 minutes later. I needed an exterior hose spigot replaced as well as some drips fixed (aka washers replaced) in my brand new irrigation setup that I'd put together myself. Todd was super friendly, fixed everything easily, and gave me some free advice about my water heater, some parts I should consider replacing. He was not pushy at all, just honest, sharing his experience, and I appreciated that.
I'll definitely use him again and definitely recommend.

Todd just came out to my home in Alameda and gave me some of the best customer service I have ever received. He was honest, friendly and professional. It was clear that he was taking my best interests into consideration and not just trying to make a buck. I will be sending all future plumbing requests to T.A. Roberts. Details: My hot water pipe from my water heater was leaking. Called a few places that didn't answers (thankfully). Contacted TA Roberts who said he could be at my house in an hour which was perfect. He came on time. Asked if he could come in with his shoes. Normally I wouldn't let guests, but I let him and really appreciated he asked.
He saw the problem gave me the estimate which seemed ""fair."" (I really didn't have anything to compare it to.) He worked really hard to get the problem done correctly. Fixed everything and cleaned up after themselves. (There was a second guy who was really nice as well. Looked like he was in training) They both made sure that the water heater was working properly and that they have covered all the bases even staying a little bit longer to make sure the hot water was coming out of all the faucets and showers.

Summary: I'm glad I got lucky and found TA Roberts Plumbing on my first shot. Now I have a plumber I feel comfortable calling.
