Todd Roberts is great. If he wasn't a plumber, he would still be great. We had a couple of small jobs, he came out, looked, fixed one on the spot, came back a few days later, fixed the other, no fuss, no mess. I'm not to sure about his Porsche investments, but it does sound like fun and I'm convinced it really is for his son. Can't ask for more in a plumber.

I was stoked to find a plumber near my house in Alameda with great reviews here, so I called Todd to see if he would run a gas line to the outside of my house for my new barbecue. He answered his phone while crawling around under someone's house (!) and we set up a time to meet and get an estimate.

Todd showed up when he said he would, worked with me to understand what I wanted and educate me on the issues, and gave a reasonable, fair estimate. The next day he came by to do the work when he said he would, finished on time, and even hooked up and tested my barbecue when he was done. He charged me exactly what he estimated.

I'll be using Todd for all my plumbing needs as long as he wants to stay in Alameda.

I live in Alameda and I'm always happy when I find a great resource who is also located in Alameda. I had a problem with my irrigation system. I called Todd, explained the problem, and he said he would come by the house, take a look at it and then call me to discuss.

He called to tell me that it was a minor problem, so he just fixed it free of charge. Obviously you may not have the same experience but I really appreciated his honesty and I'm sure he will be rewarded when I go to renovate my bathroom next year because he will be on the top of my list to call to get a quote for installing all of my new plumbing.

My girlfriend and I purchased and moved into a condo together just over two months ago. First place either of us has owned. This morning something in the shower handle went wrong. I had no idea what was going on, but knew that I couldn't turn the water off. I called Todd in a fairly medium state of panic and he arrived in 30 minutes.

While he was in transit I learned this water problem was not isolated to my shower and had to shut off the emergency water valve for the whole building. When he arrived a small crowd of angry residents had gathered. When you call for a plumber you don't expect someone who can calm a crowd while remaining professional, focused, and friendly.

This was my first emergency situation and, in addition to fixing the problem, Todd was able to calm me down and explain what happened in simple terms.

He was thorough and made sure all precautions were taken before turning the water back on. According to my phone logs this took approximately one hour and thirty minutes from the time of his arrival.

If you are panicking and looking for any number to call then you would be extremely fortunate if his was the one you stumbled across.

Todd Roberts came to my rescue when I discovered late in the afternoon on the day before my early-morning move that PG&E had dropped the ball and would not disconnect my dryer. Prior to this service call, I had no experience working with TA Roberts Co, yet Mr. Roberts realized the urgency of my situation and squeezed me in. He did not charge a premium. He arrived on time, was pleasant and friendly, and professional. Too bad I moved from Alameda; he would be my plumber for life!

Had a truck smash into my house last Monday and the driver knocked off my water spicket and water came gushing out. After shutting off the water from the main i remembered inot going to have any water to do my daily things. So i called TA Robert Plumbing and Todd was there within 15 minutes and capped the leak. What a great job and the timing was perfect. This guy gets it done right now!! When God said ""let there be plumbers"" then there was T.A Roberts Plumbing. Thanks for being there for me.

I have used Todd for both my home and business plumbing needs. I give him 5 stars for a 5 star job performance. He is on time, friendly and very adept at his work. I recommend him to everyone with confidence that I won't be disappointed in my referral. Everyone loves his work as well. He is by far the best plumber in Alameda!!!

We are brand new home owners with little experience dealing with the kinds of things you have to deal with when you can't just call your landlord. So, when our kitchen faucet broke suddenly last night, I turned to yelp for help. Thank you, yelp, for helping me find Todd. He's the most amazing plumber ever (in my limited experience of plumbers). Fast, prompt, friendly, helpful, personable, and with no plumber's crack in sight, Todd gave us our options, and fixed our faucet for a great price. I was starting to have a panic attack of the ""what have we gotten ourselves into with this house thing"" type, but now I'm back to my normal calm cool self.

All is well, except now I've gotta go do some dishes.

Called Todd again for a clothes washer repair. He came out promptly (on a Saturday evening!) and was as friendly, helpful, and affordable as the last time! Since our unit is still under warranty, he recommended we use the warranty repair people, but while he was here, we also asked him to fix a leaky faucet outside. He did it in a flash and with a smile. We'll definitely be calling him again for all our plumbing needs!

TA Roberts plumbing is AWESOME!! Prompt call back and came out within 24 hours. Handled the job with ease and even showed me things regarding my plumbing that I didn't call him for that will be very helpful for the future. You won't need to call anyone else!
