2 stars because I don't feel he was rude, however see below.
Called T&S because I wanted to shop around for some additional quotes from the one we received from a bigger company in which we typically use but it's the holidays and didn't want to be in a tight financial place if we didn't have to. T&S offered a better price we were thrilled and waited for our schedule appointment, communication was fine at first if he was running behind etc that's fine as we were flexible. Appointment day comes he runs the snake down our main sewer pipe and somewhere in this process the Y pipe breaks. He comes back upstairs to explain the situation he stated he wouldn't charge us for the day and here is where I messed up ( I was in agreeance with the plan to come back and fix it at a $650 another day) what seemed like a deal was not really a deal because we were paying for what he did i addition to the plumbing issue that was not addressed during this visit. So now our plumbing issue is not resolved and we have a broken pipe that we did not have. This is on a Friday and he states if I can't make it back in the morning I can for sure come back out Monday morning (TODAY) Mind you we have sewer water filling up in my tub to me that's an emergency and you broke our pipe so it seems this should be priority however because of the price and it being the holiday we were flexible and understanding to his schedule. Sunday comes around there is now a smell in the house and I also have small children so we call the big company we typically deal with back to come back out and fix the plumbing issue. They offered us a pretty good deal to fix the plumbing AND the Y pipe T&S Plumbing broke under his work but we declined because we did not want to take money from a small business and plus it was his error so we wanted him to fix it. I was not sure if he had to rent material and things to fix to plumbing so I informed him right away that we had the plumbing done and only needed his services to fix the Y Main pipe that broke while he operated on it. He was upset I could tell by the tone of the text message and how he stated ""To educate people"" he was referring to the techs we had out as they recommended negotiating us paying because they looked at it and said he definitely broke it and could have been to forceful. After this I let him know paying the 250 wasn't a problem but we did want to see if he was willing. ALL OF THIS FOR HIM to send me a message after I texted him to ask for a ETA that he wasn't coming today and that he would pass on the job. So fixing this Y pipe is 1,000 a minimum so far in my search that we have to pay because he didn't in good faith fix what he broke thanks T&S Plumbing.

Also he stated he can't help what breaks in my old house however in some cases this is true things can happen out of one's control but that would be stated upfront. We have had plumbing work done a few times and once before on a different issue the tech stated "" he I want to let you know this area from what my camera can see is weak there is a possibility it may.... If it does I am not held responsible because it is already weak... great we are aware and he proceeded this was NOT DONE with T&S Plumbing assuming because he did not see anything that would cause the Y pipe to break. When speaking to me he also mentioned it could have been due to the cold however the pipe is located inside of our home not outside. I really hate that I have to write this or do this around the holidays but here we are.

Called T & S plumbing on a long-outstanding major plumbing need at our old home. Even though it wasn't an emergency, they were able to start service within 48 hrs of call. The quote was quite reasonable and accurate for the work involved. They handled several different issues in one day, and were straightforward about complications. They show care and ownership in their work, and all issues appear to be addressed with quality. Will definitely contact them with any future plumbing needs!
