It's not too often that I feel compelled to make a ""shout-out"" to a company that had exceeded my expectations.
After a 2-week vacation in Mexico, we returned home at 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning, only to discover that our heat was not working.
On Monday am. I called Ty-Mark HVAC and my doorbell rang within 2 hours. Mike checked the furnace and after a consultation call with Carrier, was advised to order a replacement blower motor.
On Wednesday morning, Mike returned to install the motor, only to learn that didn't solve the problem. Carrier then determined; the problem must be with the circuit board. A replacement was being shipped.
BTW, the circuit board has a 10-year warranty. I completed the online registration of my furnace in June (2015) and it was about to expire.
Robin, at the Ty-Mark office, who coordinated the service appointments, completed the necessary warranty claim (which saved me $1500) and called on Friday to let me know they were prepared to return with the part.
Yeah . . . the furnace was back in operation!!
My thanks and compliments to Ty-Mark HVAC for their urgency,
reliability, professionalism and great customer service!
I had a repair done on my faucet a couple weeks ago and I wasn't happy with it. And I've debated writing a review but here it goes. So it turned out I needed a new cartridge in an older Moen faucet. I will say that they we're available quickly for an appointment. But I am not happy with the repair that was done. At the time I mentioned to the gentleman when it was done that the handle had a wobble in it. Like it won't stay up at a certain point to run just a little water. He told me that's the way it's supposed to be. Since it was not dripping anymore which is what I called to have it fixed I let it go. But I'm finding this very annoying and I'm afraid to call back because the last thing he said to me was you're going to need a new faucet within the next year or two and I already spent the $200 on the repair. So I'm living with it. I'm not happy and I doubt that I would call them again.
Muddy E.Saturday morning prior to Thanksgiving week, our kitchen sink and kitchen InSinkErator/garbage disposal decided it was time to develop a rapid steady leak, when T--Mark's plumbing team professionally dispatched SUPER HERO KEN C. to our home to rectify our dilemma with his courteous, professional, thorough, timely assessment of the situation to thoroughly repair and service out issues; EVEN THE FAMILY DOG APPROVED!!
Mingo Construction is a complete scam, taking advantage of people and their generosity. Mingo himself began a job of renovating a bathroom and putting in a standing shower, but he did not finish the job despite being paid up front. I would not recommend this business to anyone and will be taking legal action.
I live out of town, but I asked T-Mark for a quote to install an oven in my 95 yr old mother's house in Buffalo. The old oven was vented down and the vent fan needed to be removed and the gas line re-routed. I was quoted $429 which I approved. Apparently that was just to reroute the gas line. T-Mark left the vent fan, and pushed the stove up so that it was still 10 inches from the wall and plugged it into the outlet on the counter. Seriously, this is how they left it. They claim this is what they quoted for, but my expectation when I hired them was that they would install the stove properly. No one ever called and explained they only quoted to do half the job. When I complained they told me I could pay more to have them fix it!! Ironically, at the same time I had them quoting to extend the air conditioner they installed 4 years ago to another room. My mother already has the outdoor unit and only need venting and a room unit. T-Mark's quote was ~$3,000 - the same as the original installation cost which included the outdoor unit! Subsequent estimates I have received are in the $600 range. I would NEVER use them again. They are clearly scammers who took advantage of my 95 yr old mother.
Brian, from T-Mark, who is the project coordinator of our condo roofing project ""inspected"" my HVAC rooftop unit that was supposedly leaking and causing a problem in my upstairs neighbors unit. No one told me he was here. I saw a ladder coming down off of my roof. I ran out to talk to him and he told me the unit was iced up and I probably had my AC running constantly. Untrue, proven by other techs who had been out to give me an estimate and my own experience. He also quoted me a replacement unit as a 2 ton 60,000btu unit as was the same as my old unit's serial number, but when I looked up the model number online, and the model number he quoted was a 75,000btu unit. Too much for my small condo which would cause short cycling and ultimately bring my new unit to an untimely demise.
What a liar.
A knowledgeable and honest man from a reputable company came and looked at the situation and told me my unit was good except for some exposed corroded wires, which he replaced.
I don't know if others from this company are trustworthy, but Brian Anderson is not. Steer Clear.
T Mark is my go-to company for plumbing, electric and HVAC. I've used them for years. I can reach them 24/7 and they come when they say they will. The workers are well groomed, polite and dressed professionally. Any minor issues I've had are perfectly reasonable things that could happen with any contractor or home repairs and T Mark has always left every single project completely finished to my full satisfaction.
Can you find a cheaper fly-by-night guy? Yup. Will he show up? Maybe. Will the work be quality and will he stand behind it? Maybe, usually not.
If you want it done right in a hassle free way, just go straight to T Mark
Laura D.I had a major HVAC system installed in my 100 year old home. It was very expensive, I am retired but for convenience and self sufficiency I went ahead with the project!
The project coordinator ""salesman"" was not over bearing or pushy at all. I did get two other estimates, but in the end I chose Tmark because of their. Professionalism and attention to detail.
The technicians were very personable and were more than happy to explain and answer any questions I had.
And because of that I know that if I have any questions or problems in the future this company will stand by their work!
Ty TMark
Rude, inconsiderate employee. Not via their plumbing work, I can not attest and never will. ...just as a human being per experience-- which I find is the worst. There are other plumbers in the area.

I've owned my 150 yr old home for 20+ years and every single time I need them, T-Mark is there. Every. Single. Time. The week before Christmas and I woke to a foot of water in my basement! Derek got the water out, and HVAC ""saint"" Jeff finished the job. I'm beyond grateful and wish you all Merry Christmas! And cheers to not needing you in 2024...
