Scheduled first time with TNT on Wednesday July 20th after hours, was told by the person I spoke to not to call anyone else until they got back to me, so I waited. I was then called back and told they couldn't do it that night but could do the next day. Cool no biggie, next day rolls around no one shows up within the window I call for an eta and the plumber gets ahold of my property manager to let him know it can't happen today as the house is older and they won't have time to get the part. Again not a huge deal, I rescheduled with Helen for a week out and sent pictures of the faucet that needed to be fixed that day. Cut to today, 20 mins before the window provided for my appointment I call again for an eta as it's cutting it close. I spoke to whom I believe must have been the plumber and get this he was on his way to the office and had no idea what appointment I was talking about. Now they've wasted my time twice and I have to go through the process of finding someone who won't schedule and not show up several times. I wouldn't use this company if you paid me at this point extremely unprofessional time wasters.

Upon reading other reviews I should have known better apparently they have a habit of not showing up.

I highly recommend T And T Plumbing and Sewer. I called with a plumbing emergency and they were here first thing in the morning. They did an excellent job, they were quick and professional and very fairly priced. I will never use anyone else for my plumbing needs.

Tom was completely fantastic. We had sewage back up into our basement, which was such a pain. But he explained what he was going to do and did it without any hassle. He's affordable and very professional. He's definitely our plumber for life.

Very professional and they knows exactly what they're doing!
We had a overflow in the toilet and no clean out outside , so it was hard to diagnose where the home sewer was connected to the city sewer.
but Tom and Tommy came in and efficiently power rodded the whole line and showed me with their camera what the problem was!

Below is my email to Tom, the owner, about my experience (with personal information redacted). I never heard back from Tom -- I was at minimum expecting an acknowledgement of my situation and a commitment to improving the situation for future customers. Given they 1.) didn't get the job done, 2.) gave me what I believe is an incorrect diagnosis, and 3.) never responded when I reached out about it -- I considered it 3 strikes which led me to post my experience here:

Hi Tom -

My name is XXX and my wife scheduled your team to go come out on Saturday and clean out our main clogged sewer line @ XXX. Paul was delayed because of a flat tire (as I'm sure you're aware), and when he arrived I asked if I could watch and learn because I had never seen rodding done before. Paul was super friendly and professional but after some time suggested I had offset tiles and he was burrowing into mud, and my line needed to be dug up and replaced (he quoted $3400 for the effort). I was a bit skeptical as I had a camera down the pipe 4 years ago and it was in decent order, which I showed Paul, see the video here:

He was unsuccessful in opening the line and charged me the $185 which my wife was quoted on the phone. I paid it as I understand time is money, and individuals don't work for free even if they can't solve the problem. What did linger in my mind was 1.) the equipment he was using was a older rodder whose belt actually slipped off during usage once and we spent a handful of minutes trying to fix it, 2.) he only used one small burrowing head to try and unclog the line, and 3.) he appeared stressed and rushed because he was running behind schedule. I wasn't about to spend $3400 without getting a second opinion, so I booked the previously plumber (XXX) to come out today even though they are twice the price of you.

But yesterday I decided to take matters into my own hands a rented a 100' by 3/4 inch rodder from Home Depot for $65. It was in better working condition then the rodder Paul used, and came with a half dozen heads. I put the retriever head on, and after about 30 minutes with me rodding and my wife controlling the pedal, I had successfully cleared the line. I subsequently cancelled the plumber that was scheduled to come today.

I'm not asking for my money back -- but I wanted you to know the situation given you have such positive reviews on Yelp and you appear to be someone who takes pride in your company and your work. Given my wife and I are amateurs who watched Paul do his job and then did it ourselves, I can't help but think that given the right amount of time and equipment, he could have done this as well. It's a pretty frustrating experience overall, and I wanted you to know.

I had a problem with my home warranty service in that they could not find me a service provider and I spent four days not being able to utilize my water. When I finally got permission to find my own plumber I decided to use T-N-T Plumbing based upon their Yelp reviews Tom answered the call promptly and was at my house within two hours!! Upon his arrival he and his son promptly cleaned out my main sewer line in under an hour! I highly recommend their service and will use them again if I have any Plumbing issues in the future!

I had a main sewer backup and requested a call from every local plumber through yelp. The majority of the other companies called me after Tom was already on site. Tom came out right away, was very friendly and professional. I was kept informed every step of the way, and when the job was more involved than originally expected (several stoppages both upstream and downstream from the cleanout) they didn't stop until everything was flowing freely. Absolutely satisfied with the service provided, and I would not hesitate to call them again.
