We hired Rick for plumbing issue for a property in San Francisco area. He is so responsive and reliable. Sent a quote request around 9am, received a response in 5min with a price quote, arrived on site around noon (even though we did not request emergency appt), finished around 3pm!

Communication is also smooth and easy. Cost is affordable and fair. No hidden cost. Highly recommend!

I sent a message to SZETO PLUMBING AND HANDYMAN asking for service to fix a few items in my house. Within an hour they replied and after getting more information Han arrived at my home within thirty minutes. I enjoyed working with Han, who impressed me with his very positive attitude towards the job and his conscience to save cost for me on what's not necessary. He was very efficient working on the issues. I had quite a few things fixed by him within an hour. And he charged way less than other people who had quoted me earlier. I definitely will call Han again for handyman service in the future.

Needed a new bathroom faucet installed, and a repair for a slow-running faucet that another plumber couldn't seem to fix. Can't say enough about Rick and Han from Szeto Plumbing. Rick Szeto was easy to get a hold of. And Han who showed up to do the work was courteous, efficient and beyond capable. Han made short work of removing the older fixture and quickly installed the new one. As for the slow-running faucet, he disconnected the internal line in the spiget and discovered a clogged O-ring. Boom, solved. Would definitely use these guys again, and would recommended them for your plumbing projects. Thanks.

They came out to snake a clogged tub. The tub had a pop-up drain, so they had to remove the cross bar drain before the snake would fit. Unfortunately, when doing that the plastic pipe below was damaged and the cross bar drain would not screw back in. So, a simple snake job got a little more complicated. Luckily, Han, the guy that came, was able to find the location to access the tub drain from the back. He cut out an access hole, removed the broken pipe and ran out to Home Depot to get a replacement. He replaced the broken PVC pipe with a solid metal pipe so it was more secure. Then he patched the hole with a cover, rather than just Sheetrock, in case we needed to access the back of the tub again. He, of course, asked me what I preferred, and the access door seemed to make the most sense than replacing the Sheetrock.

The call to come out to snake the tub was $200. Since he took responsibility for breaking the pipe, they didn't charge extra for fixing it and the making the access cover. I wasn't thrilled about the broken pipe, but I was EXTREMELY happy at how they handled the situation.

Note, Han also covered the floor and wrapped the room in plastic when he cut out the wall. He also took off his shoes inside the house. Very professional move.

I requested caulking of many windows, some quite high up. I man was very quick to come out and see the job. He gave me a fair price, which included the ladder and caulking materials.
It was necessary to perform the job on my neighbor's property. They did so quickly and efficiently.
I'm quite please but (of course() am unable to thoroughly inspect because of the height of many of the windows.
I have already proposed another job for in a few months as I am quite confident in their professionalism.

I wanted to replace both of my toilets and requested a quote prior to ordering the toilets from Costco. The price came in significantly better than plumbing companies and Rick was very responsive and communicative via text (in contrast to many vendors who don't response in full sentences). The quality of service matters to me. Mr. Chen (Cheng?) came 15 min earlier than scheduled, was pleasant to work with, and finished swapping out both toilets in just about an hour. Couldn't ask for a better job. He also left a paper towel behind each toilet in case there was a leak due to the install (the wet towel would indicate a problem) but there have been no problems so far (~5 days). Would not hesitate to recommend and have them back for other repairs, small or large. Thank you!

Cannot trust this person. I spoke to Szeto on Monday and he scheduled my job for the following Friday at 5pm. I specifically asked him if he serviced my area and he said that he did. Friday afternoon came and I did not hear from him so I texted him an hour before the job was set to begin just to make sure he was coming. This is when he informed me that he could not do the repair because he did not service my area. I've would have been okay if he had reached out to me a few days earlier to let me know the situation but he never did. Now I have to explain myself to my tenant.
