These guys were amazing. Only charged me $30 a pound to fill in my ac Freon where everyone else was $60 to $80. They were able to come out same day. Thank god now I'm no longer sweating.

From start to finish - from dealing with their knowledgeable sales people to their competent installers, to sitting back without the worry of a faulty AC unit while living in hot Florida the back of my mind - doing business with Buckhalter Heating & Air has been an A1-experience that has instilled faith and a sense of well being for me with their company. The AC unit they quickly installed purrs quietly like a content and healthy house cat, while leaving our home always comfortable. At night, both sides of my pillow remain cool as a cucumber. Opening my door to the greeting of invigorating air immediately gives me a feeling of relaxing, sweet home after a long day at work. And on the weekends, fancying myself a gourmet cook no longer means sweating my butt off while I wait for the AC to adjust while I work in the kitchen. The new thermostat and AC unit from Buckhalter work together like a tight, synchronized musical band, adjusting to the temperature of my kitchen without missing a beat or causing one drop of sweat to rock or roll from my forehead or the rest of my body for that matter, as I stir my goulash, boil my homemade pasta and bake my signature chocolate chip cookies.

Chester was a huge help this afternoon. I was having issue with my new thermostat. Chester checked thoroughly on the issues, he was very detailed about the minor problem. Thank you again Chester. Will definitely use Buckhalter again.

a/c not cooling so requested a service call to diagnose problem. arrived same day and performed the task of changing/installing a dual compressor and a jump start which all took 20 mins. didn't inform me of what he was doing. came to door to tell me the unit was working. waited 15 mins and added Freon. told me the cost was 780$ and asked me to sign the invoice. looked up the parts and the cost was 50$ for the compressor. not sure of all the details as I never received the invoice and details of the work done. would never recommend this company.

Had our home air conditioner replaced last summer. Chester came out the same day we first experienced problems with our old unit, and they were able to install a new unit just 3 days later. Great job! We've had 2 minor issues since then; a bad breaker and a faulty theromostat, (neither of which was their fault)...Chester came out the same day I called on each issue and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. No charge-they stand behind their work! I would recommend Buckhalter to anyone who needs a new a/c unit or a tune-up on their old one.
