Brian showed up within 30 minutes for our emergency hot water heater that stopped working. I don't know much about how the system works at all, but he was very nice and thorough in explaining to me what the situation was and how to tell when it's in need of help in the future. He got it fixed and hot water running within 2 hours after replacing a part- VERY FAST & EFFICIENT! I will continue to ask for Brian when I have any plumbing issues in the future!

The business relationship started off well. I had a gas leak. This company offered a great price. They did a great job in getting this done. Than things turned bad. I was advised by Brian of switch n fix to change two stoves for a tenant from gas to electric. Which I did but I noticed that they left the gas pipe sticking out of the wall and floor. He told me that he would removed those pipes and return the keys. That has been over 2 months ago and the gas pipes are still in the wall and he still has my keys. He has not answered my phone calls to his mobile number or my text messages. In addition, HPD stated that I cannot change a tenants stove from gas to electric because this will raise their electric bill. They don't have to pay for gas because it is covered by the landlord whom I represent. Since this was Brian's idea I decided to reach switch n fix one last time by dialing their main line. Guess who answered? Brian. He gave me some excuse as to why he didn't return my phone calls. He said that he went ""out of the country"", ""needed to get away"" and was sorry that he didn't return my phone call. He said that he will call me back in the evening or the following morning. I waited and he didn't call. I went to their office and no one answered the door. Finally, Brian still has my keys. At this point he can keep them.

Absolute disaster working with Switch and Fix. Due to showing up several hours late to each scheduled appointment what should have been a 1 day job ended up taking 3, leaving the house without heat in the dead of winter. To make matters worse when I requested a simple receipt for proof of work they flat out refused due to trying to dodge taxes (which they admitted to). Extremely dishonest and unreliable, never again.

3 times we made appointments with them and they never showed up, they didn't even call us to let us know they were not coming, we waited from 9 to 12 pm 3 times! When we called to check their mailbox was always full, we let messages and sent emails many times and nothing, this is the worst way to treat a costumer, what a disappointment! I don't know why and how they got good reviews but the level on incompetence is terrible!

Very personable, professional and knowledgeable; not to mention an extremely fair price wise. They also took their time and made sure the job was done correctly. The next day they followed up to make sure we were happy with the boiler work. I will definitely do business with them in the future!
