I've hired them in the past and they were responsibly priced. I needed my kitchen sink replaced. They asked me to purchase the sink from Lowes' or Home Depot. They were at my house a little over an hour and charged me $1000 in labor. Ridiculously overpriced
These guys showed up quickly. Two plumbers both very young were very professional, nice people and resolved two problems, sink piping and toilet repair efficiently. They wasted no time and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Great work! I would definitely use them again.
Troy T.If you have heating plant issues, pass these guys by. Was referred to them by my usual service company as their tech had passed away. Had to make an appointment two weeks out; when the tech arrived and opened up my boiler it was clear he was unfamiliar with it, even to the point of having to call the manufacturer. (He was put on hold for nearly half an hour, for which I was no doubt charged. I say 'no doubt', as when the bill arrived it was not itemized, as nearly any other business would do. No hourly rate, no price for parts, no travel time. Just an obscene amount for a small part and about two hours labor. When I called the company I was told ""that's just the way we do it."" Well, good for them, but I will not be a repeat customer. As others have stated-- if I could give a negative star, I would.
I feel violated. I had a toilet replaced. A contractor told me the going rate was $225 but I was charged $325. More than the cost of the toilet itself, which I bought. The crew was very nice and they did a good job. But I got sticker shock when the bill came. I feel like I was taken advantage of.
Jeff O.Good advice...stay away from these folks. Just finished speaking with Brad, manager, who essentially told me Swift was not going to be responsible for a failed freeze free hot/cold exterior hose bib they installed for me back in Feb of 2020. The unit they installed was of sub-standard quality and on top of that, it was installed incorrectly. That's why it froze and burst. Brad says he will not accept responsibility for improper installation and in so many words...told me to 'get lost'. This guy is a real peach when it comes to rude and being disrespectful to customers. Keep in mind, I spent thousands of dollars with these folks over the years...and that doesn't seem to mean anything to Brad. Needless to say, I will never call them again. After I mentioned the same to Brad, his response was a 'smarmy' so what and so long. Whatever happened to respectful business representatives who actually accepted responsibility and are willing to be held accountable? You won't find any such thing here. Too bad yelp doesn't have a negative star zone.

Viper P.If I could give them negative stars I would. We had a leak coming from upstairs - Swift came out 3 different times only to NEVER diagnose problem. The last time we had them come out they tore a huge hole in our downstairs bathroom ceiling and said they couldn't go any further because there was mold. They said Servpro would have to come out and remediate the mold. Then sense they couldn't go farther downstairs they went upstairs and ripped toilet out, cut a big hole in drywall and couldn't find anything. They left my house a mess, left toilet laying on floor and said guess I will have to go to hotel. We called Servpro - they came out and said there was NO mold!!! They methodically looked at water trail and asked if Swift ever took kickplate off dishwasher because they were pretty sure that was where the water was coming from (this from Servpro who are not plumbers but we're smarter than Swift). So we call Swift back and told them what Servpro said - they were very rude this time so we told them forget it and we would find another plumber. So after all that we called Ricks Plumbing in Suquamish and bam he came out immediately and fixed the problem - supply line to dishwasher. He was shocked that Swift could not figure it out and was also shocked how swift left the toilet on floor in bathroom. Rick was great and he gets 5 stars. Below are pics of how Swift left my bathroom
Thursday, August 13, I contacted Swift plumbing to unclog my kitchen sink. They quoted Monday, but the next day, Friday, they had a cancellation. Errol and Dan showed up about 11 AM, looked at the job, fetched their equipment, did the job, and were on their way to the next job in about 15 minutes. I gave them five stars in this review because they were quick, knowledgeable, clean, and efficient and the price was very acceptable.
I'd earlier called another service but they wanted $300, far more than I thought reasonable or could afford for what I knew to be a simple straight-forward drain cleaning and declined. I called several other services who were non-commital about pricing. Swift Plumbing and Heating were also cagey but promised they ""would work with"" me and they did. For that reason, I would recommend Swift Plumbing and Heating to anyone with clogged drains and a limited budget.
Allan B.Many DIY plumbing jobs quickly escalate into full blown nightmares. Swift Plumbing came to our rescue when a booster pump failure and subsequent repair effort all went wrong.
Christian (from Swift) responded in 30 minutes and fixed the problem. He was very friendly and courteous, but more importantly he was efficient. Christian had us up and running again in 45 minutes after we spent all day on the problem.

We had some plumbing work that needed to be done on an older home we had purchased--nothing too exciting or complicated, (leaky faucets, removal of toilets, new shower heads/bath kit). We were not given an estimate of the work costs initially and, given the straightforward nature of the items on the list, I wasn't expecting it to be too much. Imagine my surprise when we opened an email to find a bill for almost $2000!
According to the owner, that was the ""cost"" of the work done. In all fairness, he discounted our bill about 15%, and apologized that we hadn't received a quote in advance. (Needless to say, if we had been quoted that much, we would have contacted another company!)
We've now moved into the house and have discovered that the new bath kit that was installed is loose and falling out of the wall and a shower head they installed doesn't work. Great... now we have to call another plumber out to fix their work. We'll definitely be looking for one that is a bit more reasonable and upfront!
Also, of note, there were scheduling issues and I ended up waiting at the property one day for them to arrive, almost three hours late... Yikes!
All of that being said, they escaped a one star review because they did work with us a little, and the plumber they sent was a really sweet and kind young man. I always appreciate a good attitude!
