After dealing with several very shady and disreputable plumbers trying to get the thermal coupler fixed on my hot water heater I found SWG Plumbing. I can't say enough positive things about them. Allison in the office gave a quote on the phone for the work (a rarity as the want to come out and make you feel stuck when you don't have heat) and more importantly they also HONORED it! The plumber arrived early (who does that)! The work was performed quickly and efficiently with no bait and switch or hassles and I had hot water again. We have a rental home in Mission Viejo and don't live in the same county so finding good professional help has been challenging @ times.
We were advised by our tenants that there was leak coming from
under the floor or the wall and that they needed a plumber. I called the company that we had used in the past but never received a response.
I contacted a friend who lives in the OC who highly recommended Scott of SWG Plumbing in Placentia, and he returned my call right away.
The cause was not the suspected slab leak, but a broken drain line behind a toilet and in the wall. The work was scheduled and the job was completed in one day which also included replacing two old toilets. Scott also went out of his way to rent/deliver & pick up a dehumidifier for the wet carpet, floor and walls as our tenant is on disability and unable to do so himself.
It was a pleasure talking to Scott before, during and after the job was completed. And according to our tenants, Scott and his crew were a pleasure for them as well:
Scott and each of his workers introduced themselves to us. They were friendly, clean and mindful of the inconvenience. We have recently purchased a home that was originally built in 1939 and extensively remodeled 10 years ago. Our inspection for a number of big and small plumbing issues in the house. SWG effectively assessed the issues and have worked well around our other contractors' schedules.
