Duke is the man, he went above and beyond the call of duty, (and his agreed scope of work) and when things got tough on the job he handled it with a good attitude and a sense of humour. He's trustworthy and cost effective. I'll definitely use him again for all my plumbing problems.

Duke was terrific again! We came home to a flooded house caused by a broken valve under the kitchen sink. We got the water shut off and the initial mess cleaned up ourselves. I called Duke that night and he was able to come out the next morning to get the problem components replaced and the problem fixed ahead of even hearing from our insurance company adjuster. We still need to deal with the resulting damage and insurance, but are able to turn our water back on with full confidence. Duke and Sweeny Plumbing have always been reliable, accessible and accommodating, with great service and prices to boot! I highly recommend them to help save the day!

Water line sprung a leak on a Saturday. I called several places; those that responded wanted some kind of additional weekend fee just to drive out. Duke Sweeny on the other hand was out within the hour, fixed the leak within minutes with a permanent clamp, and charged a fair price. He's competent and honest. I'll call him again next time I need a plumber.

I needed a new bathroom faucet installed. I had already purchased the faucet. Every plumber I called either wanted me to pay $59+ for an estimate or quoted me $250 to $300 over the phone.

Finally, I logged onto Yelp and found Sweeny Plumbing. I called and spoke to Duke about 9 AM. He gave me a quote for $80 saying it shouldn't take more than an hour. The appointment was made for 1PM, THAT DAY! Around 11 AM he called me back and wanted to know if he could come earlier. He was here in 15 minutes.
I was so concerned that he would raise the price because a bolt was missing or something...like they all do. He didn't. He finished just under an hour and even installed my new toilet handle, and the bill was $80.

He arrived neat and clean and left my bathroom neat and clean also.

I've waited about 5 days to write this review just in case something went wrong, nothing did.

I called 3 or 4 plumbers before reaching Sweeny. Was told someone would be out in less than an hour and it was less than a half hour. The owner himself came out. Diagnosed the problem and fixed my awful mess in less than an hour. Fastest and cheapest emergency house call I have ever had. Will definitely keep card and use again. Super honest and down to earth, Hard to find in today's businesses.

This review is overdue! Had a plumbing issue several months ago-toilets wouldn't flush and sewer/who knows what began to all of a sudden appear and overflow out of our showers/bathtubs. We tried everything-went to Home Depot, bought different snakes & different powerful decloggers and nothing worked to remove whatever was blocking the pipes. My husband was able to get hold of Duke on a Sunday night. It was late so we arranged for him to arrive Monday morning. Before he arrived, wouldn't you know it, the clog just opened right now and everything drained right out. We kept the appointment as we wanted to make sure everything was ok. He checked everything out, told my husband that there were no roots growing/blocking and said that what my husband used takes a good 10 hrs to fully work so it seemed to do the trick and unblock whatever was going on. He didn't even charge us as he said it would be unfair to charge us for what he did. His magnet is on our fridge and we'd recommend this decent, professional person in a heartbeat.

Duke came out the same day and removed a unnecessary gas line and rerouted a water line that blocked my dishwasher and he did a great job and when i called for him to come in the afternoon he told me it would be cheap if he came earlier. he charged a very fair price.

I contacted him again about a pipe that broke off, he was not able to come out until a few days and he not only told me what i could do to to fix it, he even sent me a picture what I needed.

Not just a great professional, but a great guy all around.

Have a problem with drain today called Sweeney plumbing and Duke show up to my place in less than 5 min, he walk to the kitchen and check for problem and went to get his tool, he start to work on the snake to unclog the drain about 15 to 20 min in, he advise me that his snake is to short for the job and he refer me to the other plumbing company name Robert's Plumbing and Rooter, Robert show up in about 10 min and start on the job take about an hour finally the problem is resolve. Duke stay help Robert for the whole time and he didn't charge me for anything. I would recommend Sweeney Plumbing to anyone just because of the service Duke had provided.
