I had a seriously clogged sink .. from a pipe in my cabin crawl space. A local buddy recommended Sweats Plumbing. What a pleasant surprise .. a prompts, friendly and capable plumber .. and a price that I thought was reasonablke. This is a great outfit.

Sweats plumbing is dependable always shows up when they say they will and if they give you an estimate they stick to it. Highly recommend.

Kerry has done a lot of work on our GA cabin since we bought in 2012. We have always found prices fair and Kerry will come back as needed if something goes wrong later. Kerry has told us numerous times we don't need to call anyone else, he can handle it all AND he does. Always willing, happy and available - ALWAYS good prices. MR Charles Bang (see other reviews) has been asked , on another site, to explain / expand on his post but chooses not to. On that site NO ONE complained and everyone said they have used Sweat for years and will continue to at reasonable prices. Sounds like an assassination job if someone is not prepared to back what they said with facts.

Kerry did a FANTASTIC job on my septic system lines and installing easier access to the tank should I ever need to get to it again. He and his guys had to remove railroad ties that were sitting on top of my tank! They left my yard completely put back together and did not overcharge me. I highly recommend these guys. They take pride in their work and want to make sure the customer is treated fairly, too.

Kerry Sweat did a sloppy and poor job and didn't listen to our questions/concerns/instructions. The entire time we tried to talk to him, he kept telling us random information about his personal life and the personal business of his other customers (unprofessional to disclose personal information about other customers who are also our neighbors!) - so much so that we had a difficult time interjecting to discuss our plumbing needs. We made a point to tell him (before he started work) not to go through the woods with his excavator to place our water line and explained our reasons for this (mainly privacy from the road). He did place the water line where we agreed (not in the woods), but HE DROVE HIS EXCAVATOR THROUGH THE WOODS ANYWAY FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON, taking out about 10 trees that were all around 10-20 feet tall. There is now a noticeable gap in the woods that will not grow back for years! Since he was going to be digging where our gutter downspout drain pipe was buried, we carefully and obviously marked exactly where the pipe was buried and also pointed it out to him so that he would not cut into the pipe while digging. He praised us for marking it so well...just a few minutes before HE TORE RIGHT THROUGH THE PIPE with his excavator, completely severing the pipe apart! HE NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR ANY OF THIS or even acknowledged it happened. Then he did a sloppy job repairing/replacing the pipe section using 2 pipe sections that belonged to us instead of buying and using the proper materials. (So he was looking around in our garage for materials to use to fix what he broke?) He used duct tape to bind it all together. At that point we just wanted him to be gone off our property. After he left, we dug up the """"fixed"""" section and found that it was leaking and that he had somehow managed to mash in an adjoining section of the pipe also. We bought and used the proper pipe connectors (cheap, sold right in town) to correctly fix what he broke. He also left some trash and buried some trash (that we found digging up the pipe). He did a sloppy job filling back in the ditch he had dug and in the process of filling in the ditch he scraped the edge of our sidewalk with the excavator, removing a couple of chunks from the sidewalk and making a noticeable big scraped place about 10"""" long and 1"""" wide in our otherwise pristine sidewalk. All of this makes us worried that he did a comparably poor job on the actual plumbing work... We don't understand why he drove through the woods and broke the pipe when we asked him so nicely not to. It was so bad that it seemed like it may have been intentional, but we can't think of any reason why he would have intentionally done that. Could he really just be that careless? Also Sweat's DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE even though we were given a business card that says """"insured"""" on it. We were told that the insurance had lapsed and that they couldn't afford to reinstate it. I suspect the reviewer Aimee S might be a relative or friend of his because we had the complete opposite experience. I would NOT RECOMMEND Sweat's to anyone who cares about the job being done well. Hire Sweat's if you want your property to be damaged without apology or proper reparation!

Responded quickly, did a good job, was not overpriced, and coordinated with our other tasks as we were just moving into the home. Kudos. Recommended.

Work was done hurriedly and very poor quality. I am still cleaning it up. Cost estimate for 3 days was done in 3 hours at 3 times a reasonable price. Stay away from this guy. He is very bad news.
