I had a few issues with my business' heat blowing cold air and being inconsistent. After getting poor phone customer service and overpriced quotes (just to come out to my business) from other HVAC companies, a friend recommended I try Swan. The dispatch lady I spoke to was super friendly and committed to making sure we at least had heat for the current day (it was a very cold day) and if so, she could have someone out first thing the next morning. Andy was our tech that came out. He was honest, friendly, professional and truly cared. He spent the time to do the job right, rectify the issue and notify us of what he was discovering along the way.
Both my husband and I own businesses in the service industry so we take notice when we are given exceptional and honest service. I would highly recommend Swan to anyone. All said and done, after all the work and time, they still came in under all the bids I received from other companies. Swan knows what they are doing and they aren't going to try to swindle you into any unnecessary services or equipment. It's good to know there are still some companies with true integrity. 5 stars!

I purchased a new air conditioner, furnace and hot-water heater from SWAN three years ago. Everything has always gone smoothly, from install to annual servicing. Most recently, Nate was assigned for the annual visit, and he was very thorough, courteous, and efficient. I greatly appreciate the whole SWAN team, including the wonderful office staff!

Multiple bad experiences with Swan, call someone else, you'll be glad you did. I wanted to give this company another chance after a disappointing a/c and furnace replacement but when I called to schedule an appointment to clean the a/c condenser I was quoted $120 over the phone by the owner, but when the technician showed up he said $299. An estimate that is 150% off is unacceptable.

Swan has become the only HVAC company we've used for the past several years. So after our furnace, AC unit, and water heater had basically reached their expiration date, we decided to proactively replace them instead of having to do so reactively, so we called Swan once again.

We received a fair estimate, without pressure as usual, and had it scheduled within a week.

The technician Dan did a great job, as he was very professional, yet personable, and did an expert job.

We are very pleased once again with the overall job by Swan, including customer service, and recommend them highly to anyone with HVAC and plumbing needs.

I called Swan Heating and Cooling the day before Thanksgiving. Our tenants had had no heat all night and it was below zero!! They immediately got her on the schedule for 2:00 this afternoon, sent a bio and photo of the tech.!! $22.00 later and they diagnosed snow blockage of the vent. They saved the day for our tenant and we are SO thankful. Please spread the word. This company is awesome!

Ripoff alert! I thought I posted a review earlier, but don't see it. Short version--furnace quit on the coldest day of the year in Feb. (of course), I'm out of town, so my tenants called Swan to come out and look at the unit. The tech explained what was wrong to me on the phone, that the heater block was cracked, and was LEAKING CARBON MONOXIDE, and by LAW he had to document this in case we decided not to have the furnace replaced--so if the family ended up dead from carbon monoxide poisioning, I would be responsible. And by the way, they had the perfect size furnace to replace the unit, and would be able to do it today, as it was a matter of safety. COMPLETE scare tactic, freaked my tenants out. Even though we have carbon monoxide detectors throughout the house. The tech was blatantly fear-mongering, worst-case scenario so that I would immediately take him up on the offer to replace the unit (at DOUBLE THE PRICE of any other) I called another local company, who came out that day, measured a TINY .001 PPM of carbon monoxide leaking, which is no hazard, and quoted a cost that was HALF of what Swan H&A quoted. Of course, I went with the second company which I found to be reputable, honest and trustworthy. Buyer Beware of Swan Heating and Air!

Placed a service call & received a timely response from the home office. Our service technician Dylan was both knowledgeable and professional. Obvious that he took great pride in his work and in trouble shooting/ diagnosing our problem. Highly recommend Swan Heating and Air...Outstanding experience!

We did NOT have a good experience with Swan and thankfully we got a 2nd opinion before taking action on the recommendations from their incompetent rep: Scott. I don't know if this man is too green for this role or if Swan pays commission to their reps so that they operate in greed and obscurity. This is probably a mix of both.

We called only to get evaluation of our HVAC system since we just bought our house a few months ago. Everything has been working great, minus an out-of-calibration thermostat. Scott showed each one of us, separately, different areas/components he said were shot, about to die or full of black mold. He told us we could get deathly sick with the black mold spewing all over the house. He also showed one of us a blower he said needed rebuilt or replaced or the entire unit would crash, affecting both heat and AC. When the other owner wanted to see what he showed one of us separately, he said that he closed it up already (and couldn't open it up again???). At the end of this long ""evaluation"", he told us it would be too costly to fix all the big issues and it would be better to replace the entire system, minus duct work...""for now."" The rep even had the audacity to ask what we paid for our house (Who does that?! I'm sure the purpose was to estimate what expense he could attempt to hit us with). Then, he went on to tell us a story about how he lost his business yrs ago and had to live with family (to conjure up sympathy so we'd pay more ???) He did say he lost a lot money in the past...how is any of this relevant or even professional? On top of all this, he didn't even address our original, simple issue with the thermostat.

We were appalled, shocked by this experience and immediately called a different HVAC company. That company sent out very professional reps-not one issue with them. They showed both of us everything they did and explained what they were looking for. As it turned out, there was NOT even a hint of this black mold. It was DIRT...DIRT that normally occurs in those areas...easy to clean off. There was only ONE small, cheap part they recommended we replace, although not necessary right now. Because they acted with such professionalism and transparency, we decided to have them fix it on the spot. $100..NOT THOUSANDS to replace an entire unit. Also, they addressed our thermostat. It's a very easy, affordable replacement.

We felt completely mislead by Swan and this rep and will never use Swan again because of this experience. If that rep ever works for another company, he will NOT be allowed into our house, ever. Not trustworthy. This experience, if we were as gullible as Swan/Rep hoped we'd be, it would have cost us $thousands, unnecessarily! Only received a star because that's necessary to post a review.

Called Swan as our AC was not working. Got an appointment quickly to have someone come out. From the initial call to replacement of the AC, service was impeccable. Each Associate was professional, extremely helpful and friendly.

While having to replace our AC unit sucked, the great folks at Swan made it easy.

I liked seeing a picture and bio of each person who came out. It was sent in advance of them coming out so we knew who to expect.

Highly recommend them.

Lu, Dylan, Peter, Jake and Brock as well as their electrician Moose and Ty...You all ROCKED it!

I have used Swan for the last two years based upon a friends recommendation. They recharged my system last year and told me that the coil had a slow leak so it was no surprise when the system was having trouble this summer. Swan charged me over $300 to charge the system and then quoted me $3400 to replace the coil. They also told me that replacing the entire system may be warranted as this system was 10 years old. After doing some research I found out that most ac systems last between 15-20 years. As a result, I called another company and was quoted $1029 complete! I won't use Swan again as it sounds like they were overcharging for repair work and trying to sell me a unit that I frankly didn't need.
