If you want expertise beyond the norm this is the plumbing company to call. If you want to be treated with respect and kindness Sutherland Plumbing is the company for you.
I could explain the whole scenario of how I ended up using them but will stick to the point: it was an extraordinary gift for me.
I was stressed beyond reason when Ti Sutherland contacted me in response to a text I had sent to his office. He turned the whole situation around and soon I knew I was getting the expertise and respect I needed desperately. I could trust and have confidence I had encountered something rare: a company that deals with people honestly and with the desire for long term customers. There are companies now who train employees to spout promises of how they are there for you but the talk doesn't live up to the promises.
The owner and the two employees I met were intelligent and polite and considerate.
To emphasize my comments I will say that I was first married in 1964. I have taken care of houses ever since then; the past 31 years on my own. I use reviews a lot but I have never, until now, been motivated enough to step up and do it myself.

We need people like this in our lives!

We had a leak under the sink the valve cracked behind the shut off valve. He explained everything and now it's fixed and I don't have to worry.
Ti the owner came out himself and he is a very kind and honest human and takes pride in his work.
He will always be my plumber.

Great job!! Very nice guy came (Sean Anderson) and inspected our shower leak. Took the time to explain what was wrong and the possible outcomes of type of fixes they could do. After we chose which fix to do they came back. Arrived promptly, wore shoe covers to protect carpet, was nice to our kitties and checked in with me each time to explain a fix and what he was doing. Leak was fixed. Took a look at our water heater and gave us some advice. Offered to fix any creaky or stuck hinges/doors/cabinets for free before he left. Very easy to schedule, they use a text system which is nice, no need to sit on the phone. We will certainly be using these guys again!

Ti and team were EXTREMELY helpful when my water heater thermostats crapped out. In lieu of coming to the house, Ti walked me through what I needed to fix the issue myself - saving me around $400 dollars in potential service fees.

Called Sutherland on a Sunday night with an issue with my sink after I did some maintenance on it myself and was stumped on why it wasn't working. Their intake person (Danielle, maybe? Don't recall.) was professional, friendly, and sharp. I got a call back from her later to let me know no one was available that evening, but I would get a call back from someone tomorrow to see when I could get on the schedule. I received a call promptly at 9 am the next morning from a plumber, Robert. I described my issue and instead of coming out here and charging me for time and materials, he just told me to disassemble my faucet and clear the filter. His assessment of the situation was spot-on and I fixed my sink myself at no cost based on Robert's advice. That's good business and I will absolutely be calling Sutherland for when I break something else. :-P

Ti has always gone above and beyond to help out when we were in a situation where we didn't have water. In 2013, our old water heater gave out and leaked all down through the house. Ti was referred to us from another company who did not have availability to come do the replacement job. He was there same-day, and we had water back up and running with a new water heater the same afternoon I called him. Most recently, the pilot light went out and Ti assisted me via phone at 9pm at night to relight the pilot so that we would have hot water again without having to wait until the next day for a service call. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS! Most appreciative of his fast, and very friendly service.

I was incredibly happy with the care, attention and detail given to my home & plumbing with Sutherland. I had a bathroom faucet and kitchen faucet replaced in my 1947 home. I also needed part of the drain under the sink in my bathroom replaced. Ti offered to give me help or advice about anything else I may want to know in my home, which is incredibly valuable for me. My bathroom sink had been getting more wobbly, and he was able to find and fix the problem, it needed to be secured to the wall and could have fallen at any moment. He also went above and beyond to recommend an environmentally-friendly drain clearing substance to make sure my kitchen sink stopped clogging and didn't cause bigger problems in the future.

Really professional and caring. It is a relief to find people who truly care about my home and the quality of their work. I would definitely use them again and it feels comforting to know that I feel I can rely on them! He also gave a recommendation for my sewer line, which needs to be reinforced.

Thanks Yelp for steering me to this awesome team! I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars.

We had a leak in the meter box (on the customer side of the water line), so we went to Yelp to look for plumbers. Based on Sutherland's excellent reviews, they were our first call. (We left a message and then kept calling other plumbers as we was desperate to get the issue fixed.) Luckily that Ti got back to us before we were able to get through to anyone else. (Sutherland Plumbing will be the only company we call in the future!)

Ti, was able to come out the same evening on his way home to assess the situation. After doing a thorough investigation, he sat down with us and talked us through our options to resolve the issue. The quick fix of the leak, the replacement of the waterline to the house, the installation of a new water pressure regulator, and a correction to our irrigation system that we didn't even know was an issue. Later that night he sent us separate quotes for each item so we could see what each aspect would cost. As we couldn't afford to get everything done at once, Ti helped us prioritized what were must do fixes and what could wait. We were impressed how he did this with open feedback and insight and without judgement or pressure to take the most expensive fix. Ti and his team, were honest and straight forward.

The professionalism and customer service at Sutherland Plumbing is top notch! The day before the job was to be done, Ti and Cameron were out to the house to make sure everything was good to go. On the day of the job, they were on site early to prep outside and spent well over 8 hours to get the job done. The work was meticulous and they truly left the areas where they worked looking better than they looked when they started.

If you are looking for an honest, hardworking plumber who puts customer satisfaction first then look no further. Ti and the team at Sutherland can't be beat!
