I asked for a repair, my time is valuable, and I needed to assist my ELDERLY mother with getting A repairman into her house.
I was provided a one hour window, which the gentleman showed up in the earliest part of that same hour.
I thought I was dealing with a larger problem, I told the Plumber this as he walked in. He used another (less costly) technique to repair, now once again Mother has hot water to her bathroom vanity.
No hassle, no nonsense, Prompt, and reasonably priced .
got there number from someone sa they were good called set up appointment showed up late after finishing job gave me a different quote then what started shower/faucets was still not good could not finish said didn't have right tool but can do for different price would not recommend this service to anyone do it yourself
I made an 8am appointment for Justin to come look at a clogged floor drain, at 8:50 I called to find out his ETA. Was informed that he had been held up by his 7am job & was heading my way. At 10 I called again. The lady who answered was apologetic and I truly understand being behind but it did not give me confidence in that company. I'm sure they do great work. I called based on reviews. But I don't feel they put any value in their customers time.
I used Sure-fix on one other occasion and was pleased with the service and pricing. I need a faucet repaired and called Sure-fix for a second time. My appointment was scheduled for 8/3 from 3-4. I receive a call they were running behind and someone would call when they were on their way. It's now 5:26 pm. I've attempted to call the numbers on their web page several time before 5 pm and after. No answer, no message on the machine. No word from anyone. Very disappointed. Would not recommend based on today's experience.
Our main drain had been clogged for some time and we kept thinking we could snake it out ourselves. That never happened so we called Sure Fix. Jim was out within an hour and was friendly and knowledgeable and before we knew it, the drain was draining. I couldn't be happier.
Stacie C.do not use these people!!! they are liars and cheats!! they will charge you for every little additional thing they can, and not tell you about it! you won't know about it until the bill comes....they want to charge you for doing the simplest things that are required to do their job...such as taking caps off drains....wtf.. the bi**h that answers the phone is rude, hangs up on you when she has no answers....promises to call back and never does....i think they found her at a truck stop! all i can say is you get what you pay for with these ba****ds!
HERE IS ANOTHER REVIEW.....this on is even on the BBB site for this company!
STEAR CLEAR! I wish I could give negative stars. I was referred to this company. They were quick to come out and quoted us low. However, once ****** arrived, costs quickly mounted. He had to go into our basement to reach the plumbing. He asked if he could use one of our buckets and a pair of my husband's pliers. That was all fine. I had to leave for work and my mother stayed and paid him. When my husband got home, all of our basement lights were left on, our bucket was full of dirty water, my husband's tools were left out, and the pliers were damaged. When he called the owner of the company did not so much as apologize. He simply called ******, and ****** replaced the pliers. But we still paid this bill for a professional service and were given terrible service. When ****** came to replace the pliers he complained about paying to replace them and complained that he had been laid off for two days. They also told us that this may only temporarily fix the problem and recommended a $500 service. So time, money, and frustration may be for naught.
Ron S.Concerning the lady angered by us blocking the alley. We do apologize for having to block the alley for a short bit with our equipment. When using high pressure hoses we need to be in direct eye contact with one another in case something should blow. You came down the alley from the other end more than 3/4 the way instead of going 1/4 the other way? We were setting up, we did not set the cones out when we seen you coming that was just the place we were at in the process We did have flashers on our truck on.. I do apologize for having to be there and be servicing one of your neighbors homes. It is our job to do house calls. Again so we are clear, The equipment we were setting up required us to be in the alley to perform our job. We are sorry you drove down 3/4 of a block to confront us about blocking the alley and already had the machine partially set up. Your daughter was in the car with you and the constant use of the F word and finger gestures by you makes my comment of calling you a Meathead seem very small in comparison.
Folks, I nor any one in my company wishes to cause anyone inconvenience. As you can clearly see this woman was very angry. Mind you she was not the only one from this block do act this way. A man from the other side of the alley , two houses from the opposite end came all the way (we were two houses from the corner) to our end and demanded we move.He then commenced with 15 minutes of ""he knows the alderman, His landlord is a cop ""etc. He even pretended to photograph us.all along shouting that he was going to have us arrested? We explained to him we were performing a service and had a right to block the alley whilst doing so. Had we parked any other way we would have been blocking a garage. Which so happens that homeowner came to use his garage wile we were doing the job so we were in the clear with that gentleman. In closing we are sorry we have to block an occasional drive or alley way. We mean no harm. We are just trying to do our job. If you have any questions regrading this please call 314-832-0900

Owner of Sure Fix Plumbing and Drain.
Came out on short notice as we were trying to resolve a home inspection issue for the sale of our home. Professional, courteous, and prompt with communication regarding the plumbing issues. Would highly recommend.
Update because I am just seeing the owners post:
This didn't happen to me. I merely saw it all go down and thought the public should know. So this guy can play innocent all he wants (that poor woman was not angry) but I am literally a 3rd party bystander w no skin in the game. Maybe working in the service industry isn't in your best interest if you can't, oh I don't know, treat human beings with a minimal amount of respect.
I can't speak to the quality of workmanship this business provides and will NEVER be able to.
What I can tell you is that this company needs to work on their customer service in a BIG way.
A driver/plumber jerk from Sure Fix watched someone in my neighborhood drive up to them while BLOCKING THE ENTIRE ALLEY and then took CONES OUT OF HIS VAN while staring at them to indicate ""I'm not moving for you.""
The driver then proceeded to call the person trying to get thru a ""MEAT HEAD"" and THEN told the person trying to get thru, who said they were trying to get to a HOSPITAL APPT, that ""that is what ambulances are for."" so just so we are all clear here... Sure Fix Plumbing thinks we should all take AMBULANCES to our dr appts in order to save him from having to get off his butt, move his vehicle to park in the STREET LIKE THE REST OF THE WORLD DOES and walk an extra half a block. Get over yourself. Plumbers are a dime a dozen and so are plumbing COMPANIES.
It is worth mentioning that the driver of the car trying to get thru had a child with them. Nice.
