My high efficiency heating system tends to crap out every winter due to a variety of factors, not the least of which is my apparent inability to replace my air filter before each heating season. I've had Supreme over each of the last two years to get my system back up and running. The guys who run it are two twins who seem to work their tails off to please their customers.
Last year, Akida came and got the thing up and running for the minimum $85 fee (this was SIGNIFICANTLY less than many other outfits out there...and he came the same day, while other folks had waiting periods of a couple days to a couple of weeks). He was efficient, explained everything to me several times in plain English, and promised to return and fix it free of charge if the system crapped out again within a week. It didn't, and I was extremely satisfied.
Fast forward to yesterday...system crapped out again during what seems like the first really cold week in a while in Berkeley. We have a newborn baby and had to rely on a space heater for a night. This morning, I left a message for Supreme and was called back within two hours. They said they would try their best to fit me in that day, but if not, the next day first thing in the morning. At 530pm, I got a call that Amili (the brother) was 15 minutes away from my house and could squeeze me in! This time, it involved some additional troubleshooting and calibrations, but after half an hour, the system was back on. Thank goodness! Initially, I was ""looking at $200"", not the $85 minimum fee that I had paid the previous year (it did seem to involve much more work in the crawl space this time), but thankfully Akili was willing to negotiate with a new father! We settled on a cash discount of $125, which was well worth it for a same-day after-hours house call that fixed the system. Again, most operations will charge that much just to look at what's going on, and will probably double or triple that without blinking an eye. And whatever they say, you probably have to just pay it, right? I mean none of us really know what we're doing here. HVAC guys are like mechanics: you never know how much you need a good one until you're faced with a big problem, and their expertise is something that most folks don't understand at all. Well, let me tell you, these guys at Supreme are legit service providers with a ton of expertise, but they're also kind human beings. And they return your calls!
I will be using them for my annual preventive maintenance and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone who really isn't sure what they need done and is looking for their go-to HVAC service provider.

We were completely satisfied with the furnace repair service from Supreme. When our gas home furnace wouldn't start, Mr. Harrison came to the rescue. He arrived at the scheduled time (on Saturday) and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem (in the thermostat). He also inspected the aging furnace thoroughly at no added cost and gave us peace of mind that the whole system was in good shape for the winter. Thank you!

Heater kept cycling off before room reached thermostat temperature.
Called Supreme this morning and was able to make same day appointment.
Mr. Harrison showed up early (which was excellent) - completed diagnostics and was able to pinpoint problem within 10 minutes. Mr. Harrison and I agreed to connect later in the day after he picked up the required part...he was able to be early again.
Mr. Harrison took careful time to explain future needs and safety concerns.

Had a lot if issues installing my Nest had my original contractor who installed it look at it and after two hours still couldn't figure it out... My contractor still charged me 200 dollars!! The Nest company emailed me pros who could fix it I called Supreme Hearing and Plumbing and they were able to fix the issue same day in 45 mins and for less than what my contractor charged me! They were extremely professional and knowledgable... They explained every process they were doing and why! I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family!

Excellent and honest service! I originally called another repair company who after looking at the furnace said that the blower motor was no longer any good and it had to be replaced. The cost would be $590. I almost went with them but luckily I held off and decided to look at yelp and found the 5 star ratings and reviews on Supreme Indoor. I asked Mr. Harrison to give me a second opinion on the furnace and I was so glad I did. He was very thorough in diagnosing the issue and he found that it was not the motor but a small part which he replaced at a fraction of the quote that I received from the first repair company I called. I'm extremely happy with the service from Supreme Indoor and hands down recommend them for any HVAC problems.

I had an older floor furnace that had gone out at my rental property in East Oakland. My tenant had just moved out and I was in a hurry to get the place ready to rent again. Another company had come out and told me it was too old to be repaired and that the parts couldn't be replaced. I contacted Supreme. I was in Mexico at the time and explained the situation to Amili Harrison over the phone. He assured me that the faulty gas valve could indeed be replaced. I gave him my credit card information over the phone. Supreme went to my vacant property just as Amili said they would and repaired the gas valve. Presto, the furnace that supposedly couldn't be fixed was working again. I had PG&E come out to inspect the work. The technician said the valve was functioning properly but that a part leading to the diverter also needed to be replaced. I called Amili again and asked him why they had not also replaced that part. They promised to come back out, which they did, and replaced that part as well. It was clear that Amili and his twin brother are extremely knowledgeable about these older furnaces. They agreed to give me a one-year warranty on the work and said they would apply the cost of this $850 repair to a new heating unit down the road once I decide to install a new one. I would definitely recommend them and would hire them again. The only reason I gave four stars and not 5 is that they did not repair both of the faulty parts at once and I did not learn of the second issue until PG&E made their inspection. That said, once I brought it to their attention, they came out straight away and took care of it. I also like the fact that they are a locally-owned Oakland small business.

Mr. Harrison was very professional and helpful. He resolved my problem instantly on my AC unit and will refer him to all my family and friends.

This is a really good outfit. My technician, Amili, was knowledgeable and skilled. He did a thorough job going over my A/C system from the attic to the unit in the back yard. He had a leak sniffer that is really sensitive and a thermometer that was really accurate. I had lost a couple pounds of refrigerant over nine years so we just put some back. It was comforting to know the hardware, ducts, filters, thermostats, and such are all checked out now. This guy knows his physics. We were looking at pressure-temperature plots. Remember, PV-nRT: it isn't just a good idea...
Oh, and by the way: I decided yesterday to go find somebody to service this system. I found Supreme on Yelp, called them, and they came today. I don't recall, but I don't think I got an answering machine; a live human answered the phone. And Amili phoned me about an hour before our appointment to check in. And he was on time. And he fixed it! Thank you.

2+ years later and it is day one of a forecast for a 7+ day heat wave. I have not had AC for 7 years because the last place that came out to look at it said it would cost $1495 to repair. Didn't have that kind of money then and now it is probably two times that amount. I called Supreme and Mr. Harrison told me he would be over around 2:00-2:30 the same day! He knew immediately what was wrong over the phone. He came out to the house, diagnosed it and fixed the problem in about an hour. He even involved me in helping with the repair which is really nice so I would know if the same problem happened again. He is so knowledgeable, honest and it is so nice to have the feeling of NOT BEING RIPPED OFF! I love these guys and will always call them first when I have a heating or air conditioning unit problem. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Call them. You won't be disappointed.

Akita and his brother at Supreme Heating are total lifesavers. We moved into an old house with tons of problems, the most frustrating of which is an furnance that only works when it wants to. I called the Harrison twins and Akita was able to come over the same day to take a look at the problem. What a appreciate most is the Akita explained everything to me and took the time to make sure I understood how the furnance system worked, or in our case, didn't work. Akita was able to have many of the parts replaced under warranty and he returned to my house three or four times, sometimes late in the evening to check in on the furnance until the whole list of issues was addressed! Also, we learned the hard way, don't let just anyone install your Nest, call Supreme. We had a Nest installed by a general contractor and it only seemed to turn the heater on about half the time. The Harrison brothers are certified Nest installers and wish I had called them first to install the Nest correctly. I experienced great, friendly, knowledgable service, with great follow up at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Supreme! (Akita, I'm so sorry if I butchered the spelling of your name!)
