I'm updating my review here because Superior Sewer replied to our review on Google and Facebook and then promptly blocked me. This seems like an extremely strange response instead of reaching out to the client... They indicated that they received a different report from their staff than from what my review indicated (you can go read their response on those other platforms).

While I can appreciate their shock at receiving vastly different reports, I tried to make myself as clear as possible in my initial review that the shock of the situation plus my own inclination to not get mad and yell did impact the way I responded on the phone to the staff member. HOWEVER, that same day, we completed the Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire they sent indicating our displeasure... no response. In fact, my husband received an email from Stephanie at Superior Sewer in regards to a Customer Satisfaction Questionnaire for an entirely different client at a different address. When my husband replied, ""Wrong email - we were the unsatisfied clients at [our address]"" they never inquired about our experience.

I wrote my reviews in a public forum... they responded to the reviews in the forum, but blocked me and never reached out?! And because I have been blocked on those forums, I can't even respond to their attempts to reply/defend? Unbelievably bad customer service. It is really a shame, because we had previously had quite positive experiences with Superior Sewer, and we found it ""shocking"" (to use their owner's wording from their reply on Google and Facebook) to have such a negative experience as we have here.

I hired them (through Pillar to Post) to perform a sewer lateral inspection. They missed a break in the lateral that cost thousands to repair. I got the line rooted and part of the line had so much water intrusion that the rest of the line couldn't be rooted (water was saturating the 6 inch line). This was clearly visible during their video inspection and they didn't even note it in the report (not quite as much water, but still a waterfall in the lateral line). They refuse to acknowledge they missed anything stating water intrusion in clay joints is ""normal"". I agree that ground water seeping in is no big deal, water POURING into the lateral, which was happening during inspection, is NOT normal. They refuse to acknowledge any fault or even refund the cost of the inspection even though their miss cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Don't use them.

I first hired Superior Sewer Co. to do a sewer lateral scope as part of a home inspection in June 2021 on a home I'm buying. Deejay was clear about the issues regarding the sewer lateral line being blocked. I then hired them again to clear out the blockage using hydrojetting which Zach completed a week later. They even waived the fee for re-camera since I had hired them the first time to do that! Zach even waited patiently at the property due to an error on my end from no one being at the house when he arrived. I highly recommend this company that had competitive prices for the great work they do. Booking and online payment was easy and I received video footage and recommendations for future maintenance.
