This may not be a good choice of a company if you want an honest quote... because the technician they sent to our grandmother was not honest about anything. He said that the water heater had to be replaced, that parts were not available, that it would take 3 hours labor, and that the new model of this brand would cost $1800 + the 3 hours labor. None of that sounded right about his quote. I read online about how water heaters are able to be fixed and parts are plentiful. I bought the igniter it needed for $40 and drove over 400 miles to San Angelo to put the part on in less than 10 minutes. Just so grandma wouldn't get ripped off by Superior Services dishonest technician. Before I drive 400 miles back I will be sending info to the BBB for trying to rip off a Grandma. Found Bob Villa just did an article on what a water heater would cost total to install averaged $1200 and would take less than 2 hours. So $1800+$450= $2250. I guess San Angelo is more like Beverly Hills, or they really wanted to take advantage of a Hispanic Grandma....

My AC wasn't cooling correctly, so i reached out to several AC repair companies. Being 4th of July, it was very difficult to get anyone to even answer the phone. Superior services answered my call and had a technician call within minutes. He was there in an hour and within another hour, had my AC unit dethawed and back to cooling. Caton, the repairman, was very professional and courteous. Being a holiday weekend, i figured we'd get our eyeballs poked out on the price, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was less than 150 bucks and they took my debit card right there in my kitchen. Completely satisfied with the work done. Thanks Superior Services and Caton!

100+ degree whether here. I called Superior Services regarding my AC not working. I had not used them before but they were the only ones that I could get a hold of. I received a call back from the technician saying he was on his way, said his name was David or Dave. I wanted to fill him in on the trouble we've been having with the AC so that it would give him a better idea of what the problem might be; I'm a technician myself (not AC) and know that details matter when troubleshooting something. The AC came with the house when we purchased it last year and we had already had someone else come over then to work on it because it was not working. As soon as I said someone else had worked on the AC when I bought the home the man got very defensive as if I had offended him in some terrible way. He started cutting me off not letting me explain the problem. He seemed quite agitated and at one point during his rant said, "you are not understanding, I'm one of the owners and I'm telling you we are not coming. You need to find someone else." I'm still quite in disbelief at the unprofessionalism, lack of courtesy and apathy towards the customer. I was not at any point rude or aggressive in any way to merit that treatment. The whole ordeal was quite bizarre from my perspective. If he would have said something like, "I'm sorry but we cannot perform this service for you because someone else has already worked on the unit and that becomes a liability for us..." I would understand something like that. He offered no explanation as to why he was not coming and was quite rude about it. I don't know they have any technical skills for the job since I did not even get the chance, but would you be willing to have someone talk down on you like that just to have your AC serviced? Do you value your comfort more than yourself? Take his advice and find someone else.

I've had the pleasure of working with this company several times. They are very quick to respond. Even on the weekend. I have worked with both HVAC and plumbers. Both have served me well. Right the first time!
I highly recommend Superior Services to any one in need of plumbers or HVAC repair.

I am not sure where all these people are from that have had horrible service from Superior. I highly recommend them. In San Angelo, Texas for a week. Sewage backed up into tub and filling up each day. Called one plumber Monday - I can be there Wednesday - never showed up. Called him - Maybe tomorrow pm. Nope. Called second guy - on my way - oops something came up, be there this pm - never showed. Called Superior services - 15 minutes later a gentleman called me. Excellent guy. I apologized for having him come out at 9:30 pm. He said, its my job, if you need us, we are here. Wow, such a nice guy. 20 minutes later, all done. To the other plumbers in San Angelo - hope you are busy, because you will never be as good as Superior - the name says it all. Thank you

I will never use or recommend this company. At my last house I had a main line water leak and I called them. First off they didn't show up that day which I understand they could have been busy, so I began to dig myself. When they finally showed up they dug for about 5 mins near the house connected a hose from the main line to my house and had a smoke brake for about 3.5 hours. Then left for the day. I didn't see them for a week so I began to dig the trench myself and bought my own PVC pipe to replace the hose. Next thing I know I get a bill for 4 hours worth of work. I called to let them know they did not do the work, I did and had video and picture proof of me doing the work. Then they said well they were going to charge me for the materials. I never used their hose either I took that out and used the PVC pipe instead. I left that in the shed for them to pick up and they never came so I left it when I moved.

I have used Superior Services for about 3 years now, both their plumbing and HVAC divisions, with very mixed results. It's true, you are only as good as your worst employee. The HVAC crew that installed my Mitsubishi minisplits were methodical and thorough, real pros, leaving installations that looked like the work of surgeons. The plumbers, have been totally all over the place in quality and workmanship. The last man - and I mean last in EVERY since of the word - worked with a helper with no particular skills at all. I had a toilet and a faucet at my home to swap out, no additional parts, a simple swap out, which they managed to do with no difficulty. Then they went to my daughter's little house, 450 feet away - and there they stayed and stayed. I had stripped the bathroom to the walls. The plumber was to set a pre-formed shower base on an elevated platform which was already built. There were already PEX supplies dangling down the wall and they needed to attach them to 2 shower valves and run risers for the shower arms, really straightforward stuff and totally exposed. Deep sighs. No problem with the shower valves. It was the simple 3 by 4 shower base that apparently gave them trouble. The primary reason I had called them was to make sure they got the hole in her steel wall in the right place. I supplied nearly everything including the hole cutting bits and the shower drain -- Superior supplied a few fittings and the trap and 3 feet of PVC. When they settled the shower down so it didn't rock, the drain line lowered to the point that it was draining uphill, like a seesaw extending out a hole that was cut too high. It took 3 hours for someone other than Superior to extend the hole lower because we had to keep from damaging the already installed drain pipe resting in place a full inch too high. There were all sorts of PVC water pipes that had to be eliminated before I could put walls around the shower, but the plumber said he would have to move the water heater as though that was a reason for leaving the mess and it was 3:15, as though THAT was a reason for leaving it half done. I did it myself after he left - took 10 minutes - and paid another company for streamlining the 2 feet of re-piping over the PEX, took 30 minutes. Then he submitted the bill, a full 8 hours of labor and over $125 for parts and he flat REFUSED to tell me what the parts were. He explained that he had not charged for the helper. Really. That's cheating his company. I was supposed to look the other way about the parts. When I called his office about the parts I was appalled to hear that if I wanted a list of parts (the significant ones, not putty and tape of course) I was told they would have to charge me more plumber labor for having him go into the office a make a list. You're only as good as the plumber who is representing you and Phillip in the office with his song and dance about charging me for writing a parts list, well, that's the last straw. Their plumber had picked up parts on a run into town and later claimed that Angelo had given him the wrong shower drain, causing them to need to make a 2nd parts run. I happened to be on the way to Angelo Plumbing when he called so I picked up the drain. Why do I think maybe he meant to have me pay for that 1st drain and use it on some side job. How do they do any parts control and job costing if they don't compare parts receipts with parts charged on an invoice. I see they had no trouble running my debit card. He certainly never arrived before 8 and he was billing me by 3:15, doesn't sound like 8 hours on my clock. Their office absolutely knows I'm upset, but I haven't received a call, a textbook Customer Service failure. It was really nice having a place just a few miles down the road that would get service people out quickly, but that's that.

If there was a rating less than one this company would receive it. Our water heater went out and we called them first thing in the morning. The company promised Philip Zepata would be calling soon. After 1 p.m. we called back to find out how long it would be and the rude receptionist named Lisa said he had a lot of calls and would get to us when he could. Rude people who do not know how to keep appointments. Never use them!!!!!!

My experience with this company was terrible. On the day of my appointment, one of their employees not only shows up late, but brought his son with him into my home to "work". Our AC was not working efficiently, and we trusted this company to fix it. The employee just changes our filter, and tells me a man will come back the next day from 10-11am to actually fix it.... This employee also asks for $74 for a service charge... The next day, no one shows up. I wait from 10am-7pm. I call the company that evening upset and they tell me I have to reschedule an appointment and will be charged overtime. I wanted to talk to the supervisor because that was completely unfair. The supervisor was not any help. Not only was the supervisor rude and insulting, he told me he was going to hang up the phone and we both hung up. This supervisor also mentioned being the company owner, as if trying to scare me and trying to imply that what he says goes. I was angry but I feel as a customer we should be treated with respect and his tone and words showed me otherwise. Their company should do whatever in their power to make their paying customers happy. As a customer, I feel that I kept my cool, and all I wanted was to be treated fairly. I paid $74 dollars for a filter change that I could have done myself. I don't even want to deal with this company, so I just left it alone and I am left with still a broken air conditioner.
