My upstairs shower started leaking. I noticed that every time someone took a shower the wall under it would get wet. I called a few plumbing companies in the area. Some of the plumbing companies weren't willing to open up the wall, I had to hire a different company to open the wall before they would send a plumber out. What the heck!? Some companies wanted to charge a diagnosis fee just to open up the wall. Then another company came to my house didn't even do a thorough inspection and then said it was a complicated fix. Then they quoted me an outrageous amount of money to fix it, I could remodel my entire restroom for that amount. And, this didn't include the drywall patching. Most companies are just looking to see how much money they can take you for! To top it off that company couldn't even do it until the next day.

I called the Superior Rooter Plumbing and talked to the technician Jose at ~10AM and told him my situation. He told me he could be at my place between 12PM and 1PM. He mentioned he'd call me 30 mins in advance. At 12PM I get a call to update me that he'll be here at 12:30PM. Great communication skills!! He arrived promptly and asked me a few questions and began a thorough diagnosis. After a few checks of the common issues, he asked if he could open up the wall to see what was going on. The wall already had signs of a leak and some slight mold. I said, ""Sure, do whatever you have to do to fix it.""

The issue ended up being the threaded stem where the tub spout attaches. I guess when my home was built 15 yrs ago the builders either didn't tighten it enough or didn't use enough Teflon tape on the threads. After he was done, Jose told me not to have anyone patch up the hole for 2-3 weeks. This way I could confirm that it was no longer leaking before having someone fix the dry wall. In total he must of spent about 30-45 mins to diagnose and fix the issue.

If you want an honest and fair plumber who isn't looking to price gouge you, call Superior Rooter Plumbing. I asked why he didn't have many reviews on yelp and he mentioned it was because most of his business was commercial business. Well you know what? I've found my go to plumber. Im so happy with the service of this company and of the Technician Jose Hernandez. He was here in 40 min to diagnose and repair the leak under the kitchen sink. The cost was good very responsible. They where Covid safe and left job clean. Thank you as almost every plumbing job has been expensive and not done correctly from other companies.

Jose installed my new water heater. Gave me a reasonable quote. Got me the exact Bradford White model I wanted. We made an appointment for 10am and Jose showed up at 10:00am: I appreciate his punctuality. Moreover, Jose gave me his honest opinion and advised not to install a salt-free conditioner system, since my water is too hard - I checked with the manufacturer and confirmed that he was right. I compare that to several other plumbers who gave a quote with no advice. Jose is polite and respectful. I highly recommend his services.

Jose is professional and has the skills to complete any plumbing job. very knowledgeable on plumbing code and completing jobs in a timely manner. If your in a bind and need assistance quickly Jose will get there and resolve your plumbing issues. Residential or commercial the pricing is fair and the work is completed properly the fires time.

When I was having issues with my garbage disposal I called a couple of plumbing companies, I ended up choosing Superior Rooter because they had a good rate and it was cheaper than the larger rooter companies. Jose was very professional in his work and was very mindful of my carpet and new floors because he wore shoe covers over his boots and layed out what looked like a thick blanket to place his tools. While he was working we were talking and I had mentioned that I was having water pressure issues so he offered a free inspection of my plumbing. At first I was hesitant because I thought that he was just going to try and find things to fix that weren't broken like a mechanic but he actually explained why I was having issues and what needed to be fixed. I initially only layed for the f ravage disposal and said that I'd think about the other work, he was kind and we finished that day. The next day I had other plumber check it out to see if Jose was telling the truth and indeed he was correct, the other plumbers didn't sound like they knew exactly what needed to be done or at least they didn't go in to great deal like Jose did and some bids were pretty high. Needless to say that I called Jose back and he ended up doing the work, I told him that I didn't initially believe him and after joking around for a bit he got started on the job and did an amazing job! If I ever have any plumbing issues I'm calling him and im definitely recommending him.

I have used Superior Rooter Plumbing 2x: in 2008 for sewer line replacement and in 2011 for main water line replacement. Both times I got a reasonable estimate, the job was completed by professionals who know what they are doing and a warranty was provided. I don't anticipate having to use the warranty based on the quality of the work completed. They do what they say they are going to do, the job is done RIGHT, and the price is fair. Highly recommended and it is worth waiting for their availability if they are not immediately available to service your project/job.

Unfortunately the last time that I called (8/2016) and scheduled an appointment they did not show up, nor did they call to cancel or reschedule the appointment. Therefore, stars changed from 5 to 3. Not showing up and not calling is not acceptable.
