If you ever have a plumbing issue as I did, do not call Superior Plumbing & Heating. I live in a manufactured home in the Akron/Newstead area of Western NY. When my brother-in-law fixed the air conditioning ductwork under the house on Monday, he found a pipe that was leaking. So, I went to Angi's List and Superior called me. We set up an appointment for them to come out on Tuesday. After about 20 minutes advised me that it would cost me $749.00 plus tax. He did not give me a written estimate, just a verbal one, and said that the office would email one to me. I thought that was way too high, so I contacted my brother-in-law again and he came out today and fixed it. The part needed cost him around $7.00 at Home Depot. He also fixed a few other things while he was under the house. He didn't tell him the grand total, but I guess under $50. The guy from Superior saw a single, elder handicapped woman and decided he could take advantage of me. Well, I may be old, but I'm not stupid and I can smell a scam when it's standing in my living room! Below is a pic of what was replaced.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! Totally impressed with Superior Plumbing! Found them on Angi's list. Received a call back within 5 minutes and service tech was here within the hour. My main drain was plugged. The technician, Angel was extremely courteous and got the job done quickly. they charged me much less than I expected it to be. He even applied a coupon that was on there website that I was not aware of. Would highly recommend Superior Plumbing. This is the first review I have ever written but they deserve it!!! Thank you, Superior!

I've used Superior Plumbing several times now for installing faucets, changing out my sump pump and installing a water back up sump pump system, and changing out toilet parts.
Jose has been my plumber and he was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and did a great job.
Recently I called about an estimate on a project and he came right out and spent time explaining in detail what the job entailed and the approximate cost and did not make me uncomfortable with a high pressure sales tactic.
I highly recommend them. They have been reliable, efficient and respectful each time I have called them.

I called these guys on a Saturday because I had sewage backing up out of my basement drain. They came out first thing Sunday and used a scope to find that my sewer line was cracked and buckling in. The only real way to fix the issue is to replace the line. That same day the had the town/gas company marking the yard. First thing Monday there was a team working there digging and done by the afternoon. All of them were friendly and willing to answer any questions I had. They worked hard in the rain until the job was done. They did their best to minimize any damage to my yard and inside the house. Price was good. Very happy with the outcome.

Bad plumbers, poor work and an owner who does not take responsibilities for their screw ups! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

We had a backed up drain in our basement and called superior plumbing. When the technician arrived he immediately began telling my husband that our problem was ""most likely"" caused by a broken trap and that he would be able send over a crew to have it fixed within the next day or 2 for ""only"" $4500. He told us they had been seeing that problem a lot due to the weather we've have this winter... Mind you he told us this as soon as he arrived before he even looked at anything! He then asked to use our restroom, came into our home and never took his dirty boots off, used our bathroom and didn't flush since we were having drainage issues. GROSS, I was appalled that a ""professional"" company would track mud/sewage into my home (mind you I have a toddler and a baby running around), use my toilet when we were having drainage issues and then not flush! He then went outside (never did go in the basement) simply looked down our sewage vent with his flash light and sure enough it was as he suspected, the trap was broken. He then came back into our home and tried to further sell us on the problem telling us not to call other companies for a second opinion, we obviously declined and will never call this company again!

I wouldn't trust a doctor to diagnose me without thoroughly assessing me. I wouldn't trust a mechanic to diagnose a problem with my car without even looking at the car. And I wont trust a plumbing company who is quoting me $4500 for a problem when they haven't even looked at a thing...

The next day we had another company come over and they found the problem to be a clog caused by baby wipes on tree roots!!! They snaked everything, sent a camera down, fixed the problem, AND gave us a warranty, all for around $200.

I normally never write reviews, but I was so appalled by this company that I felt it was necessary...I hope this review saves someone from a very unnecessary and costly repair!
