I didn't know how many stars to give because the guy that did the work was good, it was his boss that was 1 star. Here is the scoop. We are renters. Had high water bills suddenly. Had to get the landlord to schedule someone to detect the leak. It was an underground leak from the meter to the house. Once the leak was detected, the landlord scheduled Superior Plumbing to fix it. The plumber had a deep hole dug next to the driveway. He was under the assumption we were the homeowners. I went out and asked him if he already had payment info from my landlord and he said no. He then called his office but afterwards he went back to work so assumed he had the payment issue resolved. He did work hard and long on the issue and resolved it. However when he was done, he told us he could not reach the landlord to get payment info. He asked if I would call the landlord. I did and just got voice mail. He put me on the phone with his boss who was very angry the landlord was not answering his phone and proceeded to say the 3 of us, my boyfriend, landlord and me were in collusion to rip them off. His boss was saying """"This guy worked 12 hrs and he is not going to get paid!"""" (That would be the guys ENTIRE work day--he was at our place for a few hours) He was saying we just were so wrong for this guy not getting paid. Like I could magically get in touch with the landlord! So he said he was going to have the guy dig up the ground again and cut the pipe totally and we would have NO water! OR just take the meter! (We had water before he did the repair--just was leaking causing a high water bill) But they were going to leave us with NO water! That would be uninhabitable conditions! It was getting dark and I just wanted this to be over so I paid the guy myself. I still never received an apology when the landlord did call them the next morning and paid.

If I could give this place zero stars, that number would be too many. STAY AWAY from this business!!! They are in it to make a quick $79.50 regardless if they do the job or not, and they always bank on the NOT part. I should have followed my first mind when I cancelled the initial appointment when the rep told me about the $79.50 just to take a look at the job. I asked for a ballpark price to reconnect two faucets, but she claimed she did not know because it could take more labor and there could be other issues. However, when their tech came to my home, Jason had a large IPAD with every price point the company has to offer to the tune of $2,000 just to reconnect two faucets after I had some countertops installed!!!??? Why? Because EVERYTHING is either missing or wrong when it was all working properly and just fine a day and a half ago. When I told Jason to forget it and let me square the bill, he stated he would be right back. I assumed he was going to place his materials in the truck and bring me the invoice. After about ten minutes, I decided to go outside only to discover Jason coming from my backyard. He looked guilty and nervous when I asked him what was he doing. He claimed he was checking the water pressure. He made no mention to me that was his intention prior to leaving and I did not ask him to do this. After checking my security cameras, it is still inconclusive as to exactly what he was doing back there. But at least it is recorded if something goes awry! This business is feeling a little sleazy to me. I caution you to think more than twice! I found this company on TrustDale, but now, I am second guessing Dale too. All I can do is appeal to my fellow Yelpers. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

If you use this outfit after my warning, you will regret it. They charged me $400 to come and look. They quoted me $4000 to fix. Plus, it was going to be 3 business days before they could start. I called another plumber who came out 2 hrs later. They fixed my problem and left within 3 hours. The total cost was $150. I called Superior Plumbing back and asked to speak to a manager. 4 times I called. Never got a call back. These people are crooks.

Will not stand by their warranty! I called them out to fix a leak coming from upstairs bathroom through the ceiling to lower floor. Cut holes in the ceiling and ended up flushing the line. Obviously they didn't do a good job because two weeks later, same exact problem. When I called them back out thinking I'm covered by their 30 day warranty, they refused to fix without charging me again. Given how overpriced they are to begin with, you'd think they'd at least stand by their work. They do not stand behind their crappy workmanship. Will never use again and neither should you.

I called this plumber today to install a toilet that I bought at Lowes. They told me that there would be a $79 service fee just to show up and I agreed. The plumber got here and told me the cost would be $450 to install a self purchased toilet. Now, I have had over 5 toilets installed over the last 10 years and in fact had two installed at our rental property just a few months ago and that only cost $225 which is a fair charge, but $450? Absolutely not. I know what they have to do and it only takes about 45 mins to complete the job. So anyone out there who wants to have a toilet install, don't call these guys. They know once they show up and you really need a toilet, most people cave in. We just called two other companies in Atlanta that offered to do the installation for $225 on the dot. Do you research.

Superior Plumbing is NOT SUPERIOR!!!! PRICE GOUGING is what they're superior at, though, i'll give them that! We have had numerous situations with them, and this was my last straw. We've been with them since 2011, and I've always questioned their prices, but, they were knowledgeable, and I am one to believe """"you get what you pay for"""". Not with them. You will get HOSED. Our hot water heater burst in the middle of the night last night. They show up early this morning, and quote some astronomical price on a water heater replacement that they installed less than 9 years ago. It was under warranty, as I bought the 10 year one. But, by the time they itemized all that needed to be replaced/fixed, the cost of the install was well over $1,100! And this was NOT including the price of the water heater! Just labor! LMAO! Ha! I called a friend who lives in Atlanta, she recommended her guy, but he is quarantined but gave me some great advice: call the manufacturer of the water heater. I did just that. They were able to locate where Superior Plumbing purchased this years ago (at Ferguson), and Ferguson has installers ready to go. I had a guy come and install for $400! Honestly, I think by the time Superior Plumbing would've completed the job, we would have been right around 2k for the entire project. DO NOT USE THEM! They are extremely overpriced! My advice is to look at the water tank, find the manufacturer, give them the serial number of the heater, etc, and they'll be able to go from there. I also called another reputable company, but they couldn't come out today. They quoted me over the phone right around $400-$500.

My water heater wasn't working and they recommended replacement. After spending $2,000 having the recommended replacement put in, the new water heater only worked for 10 days. It's still not fixed, but regardless of if it's the brand they rely on or shoddy installation, I expect better from any plumbing company.

Superior plumbing sent a technician to my home and charged me $80. The technician informed me that I would need to buy a whole new system upwards of $4,000. after I paid my $80 I got another plumbing company by the name of men Cena plumbing out to my house and they identified as a $20 part in had me up and running in a couple of hours majority of the time was going to get the part. highly do not recommend Superior plumbing they are a rip-off they just want to sell you a new system and their customer service is very disappointing.
