The Oakland Zoo has had partnership with Superior for years. They are our primary HVAC supplier providing engineering, installation, service, and preventive maintenance on all our HVAC including in our animal areas.

They are a union shop which affects pricing some, but the quality of work and customer service can't be beat.

Brian, George, Ron and the team always look out for us.

Technicians Caesar and Rico from Superior Mechanical service were hired by Spectrum to work on replacing my water heater, ducts and installing a furnace.
Their job was outstanding. They are skilled and very diligent, updating me with each process of the work.

This company claims that I ""Piccola Evans"" was not their client, please see attachment. Are they begging me to sue them in court just to save face? smh

Superior Mechanical Services is not a quality HVAC Vendor, use them at your own risk. They damaged my floors & didn't even tell me what they had done; then the blamed it on the floors after cutting six(6) vent holes into them. Only two pics could be uploaded here.

Hi Piccola,

I spoke to the technician who did the install as well as one of the owners here regarding the damage. The existing flooring was installed on top of two other layers of floor. The new top layer of floor was not secured to the layer beneath which caused vibrations and movement when our technicians cut the holes. Unfortunately, due to other other layers of flooring below not being removed, and the top layer not secured to the sub floor the minor damage was unavoidable. ****** buyer be aware******* this company is very unfair in how they communicate and configure their prices.
make sure they tell you about charging you travel time etc.
and if you confront them they have an i dont care attitude.

Hard pass.

Had them do a diagnostic for $99 on HVAC system since a/c wasn't working for. They did come on time and all while letting us know the issues. However, the quote they provided to fix the issue was insane. I was very skeptical that the repairs cost even close to that much so I went and got a 2nd opinion...which ended up being less than a 1/3 of what Superior quoted. I don't want to go into too much details but I always recommend getting a 2nd opinion. What Superior quoted was not even close to market rate, it was way inflated.
