This place is a waste of time and money. Go elsewhere for new installations and maintenance. They charge more than anyone and are horrible to deal with. Save yourself the time and call someone else. Would give 0 stars if I could!

I have used Superior Comfort since just after they opened. I have no reason to leave them after owning my home for 25+ years. The service people are professional and kind and very knowledgeable. The office people are kind and very nice to work with. The owner is even hands on and you would never know he owns the the business because he is just one of the ""guys"". If you have heating or other needs and you don't use them, it will be your loss. They are great and you would say the same after you have them help you. Keep them in mind. ~Bristol, RI

I have been very unhappy with my purchase of two mini splits for my second home in middletown ri. I called superior comfort for service on the larger unit and was surprised that it was not working. They determined it was a slow leak most likely on the install. I paid for the service call and to recharge the refrigerant. Now it is not working properly again. I can only imagine it has been a bad unit from the start or another problem which will require another service call etc. after spending so much money for these units I would rethink purchasing the mini splits again.

This company is 5+ Stars from the tech personal to the President and Owner. I can't say enough about Chad and Jared, the installers at my home. Both were polite, respectful, courteous, and most important, meticulous! I also can not say enough praise about Jeremy, the Lead Installer who's communication and professionalism is second to none. There is only one company I would ever recommend for this type of work, and it's Superior Comfort!

I was grossly over billed for services for work they performed on my hot water heater. They had told me by phone that they charge $149/hr for the first hour and $105 for subsequent hours. Then they sent not one but two technicians who spent less 2 hours to perform the work, yet they billed me 7 manhours at $125/hr, and also billed me over $350 in materials cost without proper explanation. They also billed for work they had previously said they would not bill for (due to their mistake), and when they came again with the 2 man crew, they billed me double the hours for the crew they had sent to do the work. Total they charged me was $1,797.24. I disputed the amount, yet in spite of my arguing with them for weeks in a series of e-mails, they refused to give me proper credit for the work. In the middle of my dispute with them, they went ahead and charged my credit card leaving me helpless to try and recover the over billed amount. In summary, they charged me 4 times what the work should have cost and only gave me approximately 1/3 back as a refund. The amount they over charged me for the work involved, and their bully tactic of simply charging my credit card in spite of my disputing the charges, is tantamount to steeling in my opinion. Don't use these guys. Find someone else who doesn't engage in over billing.

Pretty upset with my most recent service call. My boiler needed a tune up and was leaking. The scheduling was efficient and the technician was prompt and professional. What became an issue was when a two hour service call for a cleaning and a valve replacement resulted in a nearly $600 bill. They didn't have the part they needed so they charged me half an hour of labour at almost $150/hour for him to drive to a plumbing supply store, then they bought retail parts which they marked up. They refused to tell me the mark up on the parts and claimed they made no money on the labour. Yeah right. They offered a $25 refund but it was still ludicrously expensive. Opaque billing practices and charging people for a plumbers time to drive around town to get retail parts which they then mark up is ridiculous. Recommend finding a more honest and up front company.

I have only had positive experiences with my own home repairs and installations. Superior had been maintaining my 20 year old boiler and their service was great but it was time for a new one.

In 2018 I had both an AC split system and a heater/boiler installed by them. Both systems were recommended by them and they also qualified for Nat Grid credits of over $2000, thank you!!!

The AC was the first and from the logistics in planning of the system to the techs install, and startup it went very smooth.
I was always a window AC guy but I decided to splurge. I wanted one to cool the 1st floor living space and one for the master bedroom on the 2nd floor as well, so they recommended a 2 head system with a single compressor/base unit. That was brilliant and they both work great, why did I wait so long?

The boiler was more recent and from design to installation they were very professional. Jeremy configured the layout and installation and was very thorough and detailed. The techs while removing my old boiler pointed out several places that were not a quality install. They added extra valves and other modifications to ""upgrade me "" at no extra charge from the proposal.

An established company with a good track record and you can include me as a happy customer!

We had an expensive (over $10,000.00) gas heating system installed by them several years ago and every October we have needed a service call to get it started. The technicians are great. However, they have not offered timely service (except for 395/hr after hour service) even when it is cold and our heat is not working.

My wife and I were looking for a new, efficient water heating system to replace our old, failing, oil based system. Gary from Superior was very helpful and came right out to give us an estimate on replacing the system. He recommended a new electric based system that would be much more efficient than our old system had ever been. We went with what he recommended and the cost for the new system was very reasonable. The new system has been working great! The service we received from start to finish with Superior was first class in every way! I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any kind of HVAC service.
