We called Super Plumbers to come to asses a leak in my condo. Little did we know that aside from price gouging us, the work they did had to be removed and redone by another plumber! This fraudulent company needs to be reported for being dishonest and illegitimate. After being charged over 2,000.00 to replace two pex pipes we ended up having to hire a series of other plumbers which became a nightmare.

It's a shame that they are preying on innocent customers who are in dire circumstances and overcharging them or like referenced in other reviews don't even show up for scheduled appointments. Please save your time and money and don't bother with them. Had we read these reviews we would have never contacted them!!!

UPDATE: Today Omar cake and replaced the temporary part. He explained that the person who came in December was let go because he didn't follow through on his jobs. Omar was great and very professional. I would use this company again and request Omar.

Previously I had a bad experience with Rick. Originally I was thrilled with Rick because he came the right away when I had an emergency issue eh my shower. He didn't have the right part so he said they would put something in temporary to stop the issue and come back with the right part. I called and texted the company about 10-12 times over the past 4-5 months and no one had gotten back to me. Now I know that it was because Rick was let go from the company

I needed a new toilet installed. Omar and Tom were great technicians...very nice and they knew what they were doing. Although there was a bit of a mix up with the color of the toilet and the time frames that they were suppose to come, they kept in touch with me about everything.

Back in May, Rick from Super Plumber accepted the job to replace my old HVAC unit in Hoboken, NJ. While we were negotiating the agreement, Rick emphasized quite often that he is the kind of guy who keeps his promise and I could rely on his word. Although he completed the work quickly, I was not able to rely on his word as he promised for one not-too-small detail: it was part of the agreement that all parts of the old unit would be discarded. I found out several weeks after the new unit was installed that the old condenser was still on the roof. On July 17 Rick promised to discard it within a few days, yet he didn't do it. On Aug 16 I inquired again when he was planning to remove the old condenser. His reply was ""No excuses my apologies Prompt service and quality work is why I've been so busy and won't allow the situation to continue"". The next day I sent Rick another message requesting to know when he would be removing the condenser. I got no reply and the condenser is still on the roof as of today.

They are GREAT!!

I have to say I am always very skeptical when I have to call a plumber, carpenter, AC repair etc.... because you always hear these stories of people getting ripped off and taken advantage of but not with Super Plumber!!

We were having an issue with our AC and my husband thought he fixed it however I wanted it checked anyway as I know the summer is coming and I HATE the heat! I called them and spoke to Tom who was able to come 2 days later during the exact time that worked for us (between 12-2). We were having issues cutting out on our phones so he sent me a text and I sent him all our information and he confirmed the app for us.

Thursday came and my husband was home but at 2pm he said they haven't called him yet so I reached out to Tom and not only was he extremely apologetic (there was glitch in the app schedule) he called my husband right away and came directly over to our home!

When he came he didn't push anything extra on us, I asked my husband to ask about cleaning the AC and he said we didn't need it and it was a ripoff! Anyone could have jumped on that and had us waist our money so they could do the work but he didn't, he was extremely honest, professional, and fair, he even waived the services charge because of the mix up in time!

He walked around and took the time to explain everything to my husband and found that our AC was fine (thank goodness!!).

I know someone else said the other reviews were over a year old but this one is new and I cant recommend them enough!!

Super Plumbing has been our reliable source for plumbing repairs I would believe for nearly 4 years.
Whenever there is a reason with a need for plumbing assistance we call Super. The entire Super team is great. The team member who answers the phone is courteous, professional and asks when we would like to make an appointment which leaves one with a secure feeling that plumbing assistance is available 24 hours per day. The technicians couldn't be better. Professional and cordial arriving in an identifying name shirt and right on time. They give a reasonable quote and they work quickly while being completely reliable with their work. At times, while working, they may find something additional and they discuss the possible extra work carefully and with a reasonable price. I know that some people think this may mean they are deliberately trying to make more money which simply isn't true by our experience. Our most recent repairs were completed by their great technicians Willy, Cesar and another technician who was great and I cannot recall his name at present. We always call Super without any regrets at all.

I don't really ever review people but this company was so frustrating. Called in with an emergency they said they'd come by 11 so took day off. I called in at 12 they said they'd get back to me in ten mins then proceeded to not answer my phone calls again. Honestly if they just said no I could have asked other plumbers but what's most frustrating is that they hung me out to dry. Cannot be more annoyed

Highly recommend!! This company is extremely helpful! Our boiler stopped working on a Saturday night. We had no heat or hot water and it was freezing in our apartment. We called their number, and the gentleman helped us troubleshoot and fixed our boiler over the phone in less than 10 minutes out of pure kindness! He was very knowledgable and professional throughout the process. Thank you so much again for saving us from a cold night!

I am literally copying and pasting this note from Royal Pro as they are the same company and seem to change their names constantly to avoid all the bad reviews, avoid these scammers at all cost:

We had Super Plumbers (they have changed their names several times) install an HVAC Unit and everything has been hellish since. Initially they put in a Rheem that is too big for our space. They tried to do work without getting the proper permits in Hoboken, NJ, to the point where our condo board reported them to the buildings department. We have since had several issues with leaks from the unit. I have had to call them in several times and they did not fix the problem, but managed to charge me extra for coming in. They blamed it on everything but their work including our pipes being clogged. Now we have another plumber dealing with it and they pointed out that the unit was installed too low and therefore is not draining properly, so they should have installed a drainage pump. We now have to pay for the pump and the work as well as the significant damage to the unit downstairs and in our hardwood floors. Now onto the courts.

Now onto the personalities. Frank the owner has been one of the rudest, most aggressive and obnoxious people we have ever worked with. At one point, he threatened to burn our apartment down. I have had several shouting matches to get them to come in and try to fix this debauchery. If you read this note and still use them, just be aware, you are going to have a lot of problems and only yourself to blame.

We called Super Plumbers Royal for a quote on a job we wanted done in Hoboken. They never showed up, even though coming and looking at the project would have only taken 5 minutes.

Before you read further, please notice that most 5 star reviews for this company elsewhere are 1 year old or more! I called on a Thursday and someone said they would come between 11am and 1pm on Friday. Well, not only did no one show up, no one bothered to call either. We waited around all day and finally called around 4pm to see what happened.

They said they got behind but someone could come on Saturday. So my husband stayed home all day waiting for them and again, nothing!

It's now 5pm on Saturday and we haven't heard from anyone.

If we can't count on someone to show up for the quote, which is the easy part, then we cannot rely on them to get the real job done.

P.S. Rick from Royal just called, and when my husband expressed the concern above he was told by Rick, ""it's because we do such great work, and we are very busy . . . but if that's the attitude you have, then that's great have a great day!""

Rick was unapologetic and acted like we would be lucky to have them come and do our work. They may be the best plumbers on the planet but we would never get the chance to know it if they never show up to do the work.

So for that it's zero star service all around. This is a highly competitive industry with lots of quality people who will show up and do the job. For anyone reading this, just skip them and go to the next guy. I'll post another review on the other company when the job is done.
