The first time they came to my house was under my warranty with American Home Shield. They told me I needed a new water heater and returned the next day to install it. The employee who did the install was so frustrated with the old pipes he was banging tools around and grunting. He shattered a glass panel I had nearby and didn't offer to clean it up or replace it. He finished the job and left. 16 months after they replaced it my water would not stay hot so they came back out and before even checking anything he told me what part was broken. I asked that he at least look and make sure that was the problem. He begrudgingly agreed and acted like I was crazy for asking him to actually look at it. He said it was a manufacturing issue with the pilot and it needed to be replaced but was not under warranty. He got to work, after about 2 minutes he tells me a wire is stuck and it'll break if he pulls it so he'll have to come back another day and charge me again. I asked what would happen if he pulled the wire and he said it would break and cause the whole pilot to need to be replaced. I asked him to try and it pulled right out no issue but he never even tried and was going to charge me more money for a second visit that was totally unnecessary. Something about them felt very unsettling both times. Wouldn't recommend.

We were connected to the first company through our home warranty shield after another company came out and did absolutely nothing. So they called super rooter and they came over at night and did some work I would say he was impressive. The very next morning he returned to finish up all the other work orders and at the start, he was pretty good however later when it came to the kitchen sink I noticed he was frustrated, throwing down his tools, and getting mad at the sink. So finally he was done I check for leaks there was none I gave him a tip ( now I wish I didn't) and he left. Two days later my girlfriend is cooking and asked me "" why doesn't the cold water come on?"" so I came down looked under the sink and noticed the valve was closed on the cold side so I turned it on and asked her to try it she replied its working now. Then all of a sudden I notice a f;$; ing leak from the valve I shut the water off at the valve and the leak was gone. So here is what this guy did, he knew damn well it was leaking and was in a rush and didn't want to complete the repair right so he closed the valve jumped in his truck and said F&$&k them. This is not what I call a professional job or tradesman. Make sure you check behind these people before they leave and before you give them a tip. Invoice # 4349

I'm going to give a rating of one because the tech actually showed up. I went through American shield, tech shows up to look under my sink to see the drain pipe dis-assembled with a broken piece. He then steps out for 30 mins. We step out to see why he is outside sitting in his van. His reason, dealing with American Homeshield so he can get paid. Then steps back in the house says he needs to get paid then steps out for no reason. We then realize he drove off with no announcement. American homeshield needs to do a better screening of their contractors because Danny from Super rooter was not cool for taking off.

I called in a service request for my home warranty company, American Home Shield. I was very pleased with the customer service I received from Joe. He was very pleasant and respectful. He was thorough is what he was doing and recommended prevention. My kitchen sink had a leak that we attempted to fix beforehand but wasn't successful, luckily we have a home warranty with good reliable vendors.
