Summary: We had a problem with our toilet leaking and their team was able to come out and fix the problem within a few hours of texting them!

A lot of the other plumbers I've contacted in the past are not very responsive or need a few days before they can come out. We were leaving for the weekend and wanted it to be fixed ASAP so we didn't come home to a crazy flooded bathroom. I texted Luis around 130pm on Thursday and by 3pm, 2 people from their team were at my condo. Problem solved by 4pm. I would definitely hire them again.

Luis and his crew are excellent. My dad started using them years ago, I started using them for appliance upgrades and emergency plumbing, them recommended him to my friend who also currently uses him. An excellent eye for detail and finish work.

I personally would not use him a second time. He did what he agreed to do, yet i was really disappointed when he ran into complications and his first response was ""i dont have a license to work in the street so you will have to get another plumber.""

Our Noritz tankless hot water heater died. Luiz came out, looked at it and gave us our options. As much as we wanted to replace the water heater we decided this was not the time for that kind of expense. He talked it through with us got on the phone with Noritz and ordered the part. All through the process Luiz was professional and super helpful. I can't recommend these guys any higher.

I called with a plumbing emergency this past Friday, and, although Luis and his guys were booked for the day, Luis came by on his way home and was able to take care of the problem right away. He sent his guys over the next morning to put on the finishing touches. They were just as nice and friendly as Luis. I will recommend Superplumbing to my family and friends! Great work at very reasonable price. Luis is an honest man who knows his stuff. I should mention that when Luis was leaving I asked him about a completely different problem I have been having with my washer. He took a look at the washer, made a few adjustments and the washer is fine! There was no charge. That is the kind of guy Luis is!

I manage rental properties in the Venice and Santa Monica area and have used many service technicians over the years. Some have been great, some OK, and some terrible. My experience with Super Plumbing and Luis Rios was terrible. First, after I had given him some prior business, which he was fine, I asked if he could swing by and light a pilot light in an oven for me that the tenants couldn't get lit for some reason and I was out of town... He scheduled an appointment for between 5 and 6 and never showed. The tenants called and said he never showed up, so I called Luis and he said, 'oh sorry, I was working on another job and forgot to call'. This was a major inconvenience because the tenants had postponed some activities to be at the house for when he arrived. Luis said he would stop by the next day which he did and then proceeded to bill me $100 to light a pilot light. Which took him 5 minutes. I asked if he thought it was fair to miss an appointment and then charge $100 to light a pilot light and he said, 'I have a $100 minimum'. He's the boss, if he wants to use his '$100 minimum' on lighting a pilot light, that's up to him as a business owner, but I would have to disagree and say it's a complete ripoff. Especially given his reliability issues. At least say it's going to be $100 minimum on such a small job, and no mention at all. Bad business.

Before I knew he would rip me off for lighting the pilot light (because I hadn't been billed yet) I gave him another job where the bathroom tub was clogged at another one of my properties. He said he charged $100 an hr, remember. So he said a double connector needed to be replaced and that the job would cost $1,200. We said OK, go for it. It took him about 2 hrs to do the job. I was expecting it to be at least a 6 hr job given his quote. I said, how many hours did you take? How much were parts... $800? He said, 'you agreed to pay $1,200.' LUIS AND SUPER PLUMBING IS A COMPLETE RIPOFF.

USE LORDS OF PLUMBING. I've had good experiences with them and they are reliable.

Luis is friendly, there when you need him, and a perfect gentleman. We had a slab leak, and, living in Culver City, Luis will remember this job, and its difficulties.
