These guys are very good. I called late on a Friday night (~10pm) with a severely backed up kitchen sink. They picked up right away and came over the next morning and fixed the sink right away for me. Narciso was very professional, courteous and punctual. Would use them again.

Two stars for being non responsive. Never got a chance to use them. Called them on a Friday at 5:15 pm and was told I will get a call back. They never called, even though the phone person said they work 24/7
I called Sat. at 9:30 am and was told they would call back. Never did.
The down time for me waiting around and avoiding my errands and anticipating a call back is not worth it. After researching Yelp and seeing such great reviews I chose this company. Go figure?

These guys are often hard to reach and they're not usually fast on the callback, but they DO VERY GOOD WORK. Back when owner Jimmy Papik worked for his late father, he came to our house once and quickly solved the problem: water was coming out through a wall. He found it and fixed it. Today, he employs a plumber named Jay who has the mind of an engineer: On two consecutive days I observed Jay figuring out solutions to a pair of non-routine plumbing issues.

These guys were fantastic!
Had an angle stop break while shutting off the water to my washing machine on Saturday afternoon around 5pm.
Water was leaking out, so I put a bucket down since we have no shut off for our unit.
Only a main for the entire building.

These guys came right out in less than 45 minutes, shut off the water and replaced both angle stops.
Very friendly, and clean work.
I highly recommend them!

We got their invoice yesterday in the mail and we're shocked, the bill was much less than expected for an emergency after hours weekend call.

I went on yelp to find a plumber on the West side as I had a toilet that needed a new refill and flapper valve replacement. The first place I called (that had a good Yelp rating) told me the parts alone would be $300 + labor which sounded crazy as I could buy a new toilet for $400 and parts were probably $25 on Amazon. So I called Sunset on Memorial day, someone actually answered and booked an appointment for 2 days later at 9:00AM. The plumber was here at 8:55AM and did the job in less than 30 minutes and it was about $180 all in. Here's the funny part, when I tried to pay they told me they would bill me. Never heard of this service in today's world. Honesty and trust on both sides. Amazing...I don't think I have ever said that about a contractor. Thanks again.

This company is awesome. I called with my issue which at the time was potentially damaging. They were able to get a plumber to me within 90-minutes. The gentleman's name was Oliver and he had a great deal of experience. He genuinely wanted me to be happy. No up selling. There's a difference between this company and a chain. These guys care.

I called Sunset Plumbing in the morning and they where available the same afternoon! Narciso was excellent. He fixed our toilet quickly and he was very nice.

I called on a Saturday morning and reached their answering service. I told the service that I needed a quote to snake my mainline, and that I urgently needed an appointment for later that day. I waited two hours, and, hearing nothing, called again. The answering service assured me that Jim had received my message, and that he would get back to be shortly. I waited another hour, then called for a third time. Again I was told that my messages had been forwarded along, and to sit tight. I never received a return call. I used another plumber that I found on Yelp, and he was fantastic. If you want actual help, I would not recommend Sunset West.

I had Jay come and changed my faucets in kitchen and bathroom, he was really fast, and get everything done in two hours (one hour each time) And he also put grout on my sink, so it looks really nice. Great job, amazing guy, and will keep having him back!
