Oliver was great! He quickly found the reason of the misteriously leaking on and off water heater and shower heads. A previous plumber didn't figure that out. He was very patient explaining the details and found a solution to all our plumbing needs at the moment. Excellent job! Thank you!

I read on NextDoor Palisades really great reviews about this plumbing company so I decided to give them a try. A hot water heater was leaking, so I gave a call and they sent someone to turn off the water on the same day because I was going out of town. When i returned, they installed a new hot water tank for me. While they were draining the old one of it's water, I told them I was baffled as to why my water bill was so high. One of them went under the house to check for leaks. There were none. Then they checked the toilets in the house. No leaks. Finally, they checked the toilet in the guest house and found the tiniest of leaks they felt could be the issue. What great guys that went over and above the call of great service. They will be my go to guys for all my plumbing needs in the future for sure. Can't recommend highly enough!

The office staff is pleasant, efficient, and follows up regarding appointment scheduling. Over the years and number of plumbers we have used while remodeling, we have been rather frustrated. From the minute we called with the helpful assistance from the front office, to the visit by Oliver who came to our house promptly and at the berginning of the two hour window, he was very pleasant and helpful. Sunset West Plumbers are absolutely the best! They are through and fast.. I mean the situation was ,my boss called Rotor Rooters..first mistake.. early in the morning when they discovered a pipe was spewing out water and they couldn't get it to stop... Well it was noon when I arrived and the the RR's called to say it would be another 2 1/2 hours till they got here.. I was like bump them I will find a place .. and just like that boom I found Sunset West plumbers I talked to Junior and one hour later they are here and 30 minutes after that the problem is fixed!!! That's what I call excellent customer service... Thank you guys again!

Called a bunch of plumbers early on a Tuesday morning due to a leak in my rental unit that needed immediate attention. No one answered until I called sunset west which immediately answered. They were able to arrange for a plumber to come that morning. When I needed to reach them to give them additional instructions for entering the unit, they were always available.

When the plumber was working there, he called me each time he had a question or wanted to know if I wanted him to do additional work. I appreciated this as it allowed me to stay involved and make the decisions necessary. The work was done timely and well so far.

We will definitely consider using sunset west for any of our future plumbing problems. But hopefully we won't have any any time soon! Lol. Hahaha. Thanks!

We have used Sunset West Plumbing & Rooter twice in the last two years. They just finished working on an emergency that started just before Thanksgiving, a gas leak. Jay came out, assessed the situation, and identified the root cause of the problem... roots from the backyard ancient avocado tree. They gave us a verbal estimate that evening. Being a prudent shopper, I followed up on several other recommended plumbers to provide estimates and paid a leak detection specialist to evaluate the situation. Not only was Sunset West a better price, but their assessment of the situation was exactly as the specialists.

They quickly scheduled a team to do the work, and were onsite when the Gas Company came to certify the leaks were resolved and turned the gas back on.

I HIGHLY recommend their services. Indoor. Outside. Water. Gas.

What would make Sunset West five stars?
More meticulous office management: onsite booking/quote/billing processes. They are not quick to produce a paper/digital quote stating what their services will provide, or if they are going to use a flat hourly rate. And their billing can be erroneous. The team is straight-up honest, so they will honor and fix any mistakes, it just means you need to work with them a little more closely than you might expect.
