Having a had a place in the Coachella valley for 15+ years, we have used our fair share of plumbers. Some are better than others, but overall a mixed bag of pros and cons. Which leads me to recently needing a plumber on short notice (of course! Haha). After asking friends and neighbors, I dutifully called various plumber options/companies, and was quickly disappointed by either their lack of availability or the quotes ranging from $$$ to $$$$. I even had someone come over to evaluate the situation, and was told that it was an in-depth repair costing $1000+. He then gave me a phone number of a friend he thought could possibly do it for less, but the quote ended up being around $900. When I turned that down, he got hostile so that was the end of that road.
At the last hour, I managed to find and easily get a hold of Dan Kulick of Sunset Rooter and Plumbing late on a Friday afternoon. He listened to me patiently, understood my request, gave me a reasonable quote and quickly arranged to come over the following morning to help (Sat morning!). He showed up on time, knew exactly what to do and went above and beyond to complete the repair right on time for my deadline (tenants arriving the next day).
After navigating some challenges and completing his incredible work, he actually charged us less than he originally quoted, and significantly less than the previous quotes I had received.
I cannot recommend Dan more; he is patient, a great listener, highly skilled and reasonably priced. I feel very fortunate to now have him as part of our ""team"" of honest and trustworthy people keeping our home running smoothly.
