I called Sunnyside Plumbing for emergency repair service, and it's a mistake I would never make again.
We noticed a leak coming from a pipe just above the water meter. It happened on the Monday night of the recent holiday weekend. The plumbing company we normally use was closed so we had to call another company.

Initially we were impressed when we called the office; someone answered right away and told us a plumber could be there within the hour. Shortly afterwards the plumber called us and arrived after that.

The experience went quickly downhill from there. The plumber spent 10 minutes in our basement. He told us the pipe couldn't be replaced because it was old, but he could stop the leak. Tightened it with a wrench and left. Shortly after that we noticed the pipe was still leaking!

I call the office, and the woman who answered said she would try and reach the plumber. My wife called the plumber directly and told him what the leak wasn't fixed.

I feel asleep before the plumber finally came back, and my wife let him in and supervised him when he worked.

He left again without fixing the pipe completely, and even worse HE HIT ON MY WIFE WHILE I WAS SLEEPING UPSTAIRS! What kind of man tells another man's wife that he came back so quickly because she sounded hot on the phone?!? He also told her that she has a beautiful body.

That time the leak appeared to be fixed, but the next morning I noticed there was still a very small drip.

I called my regular plumbing company, and the owner said he would personally come that Friday to have a look and send someone to fix it.

In the meantime the guy from Sunnyside called to make sure everything was ok. I told him it wasn't and he offered to come by the next day. (I guess he wanted another look at my wife.)

At that point she hadn't told me that the plumber hit on her so I let him come back thinking if he could actually fix the leak I could cancel the other appointment. He tried again and failed.

My actual plumbing company came two days later and actually replaced the pipe the other plumber said couldn't be replaced because it was too old. We've had no problems since.

My suggestion is that is you want half assed repairs that don't work from a horny plumber go to Sunnyside Plumbers. If you want professional work done go elsewhere.

I scheduled an appointment several days in advance. Nobody was here at the scheduled time. I called and was told they would arrive within the hour. One hour and fifteen minutes later, i called again, and was told they were nearby but stuck in traffic. I said OK. 45 minutes later, I called to get an ETA. I knew from my initial call several days before that prices were higher after a certain time. I asked to make sure that i wouldn't be charged for the later tie since i had an early appointment for which they were now nearly three hours late. The person at the office told me that I would not be charged extra.

Fast forward five minutes, and the actual plumber calls and says he will be arriving even later. I confirm what time he will be here. I state that I am disappointed because I took time off to be there for the scheduled time. He says that's the way it is, and seems to hang up, so i hang up. He calls back, and begins screaming at me. Literally screaming. Using extreme profanity. Using ethnic slurs based on his perceived idea of my ancestry. He tells me to flush my head down a toilet. He tells me I need to die, and he tells me that he knows where I live! Keeping in mind that i actually never said anything off color, and did not raise my voice. I had merely stated that he was three hours late. And he swears, makes rude comments, makes ethnic slurs, and THREATENS TO KILL ME.

For mentioning that he was three hours late for an appointment I had made several days earlier. Needless to say, I can not recommend this place to anyone. The behavior of this plumber was highly unacceptable and completely unprofessional.
