Ray was very efficient, came at the worst day to travel, and did an excellent job replacing my water heater! His price was the absolute best around, and I definitely will have him do all of my plumbing needs in the future! I recomend Ray dor any plumbing needs in west Riverside...Thanks Ray!!!

I can't praise their professionalism, dedication, and the speed at which they completed our project ahead of schedule enough. We teamed up with them to remodel our upstairs and our downstairs bathroom. One of them was always right there with us, ensuring that our home was left clean and tidy every day during the project. And whenever we had questions or concerns, they didn't hesitate to hop over from their Murietta offices to Diamond Bato chat with us about the project. I wholeheartedly recommend working with them; we're absolutely thrilled with our remodel, and we'd gladly reach out to them again in the future!

I called Sunny Rays Construction one Sunday morning needing assistance with a main line backup. I was happy when Ray was more than willing to come on a Sunday to help us. He was very professional and his price was amazing especially considering I called him on a Sunday. Sunny Rays Construction is highly recommended.

This company was the worst experience I have ever dealt with. Non qualified drywall workers and the tile guys didn't even have their own tools or vehicle. This is the worst experience in dealing with contractors and I have been doing this for 25 years

We had Ray come out and repaint the outside of our home. He was there within a day and started the next day. Our house looks beautiful and modern. Thanks Ray!

Great service as usual! Water heater repaired fast and at a good price. I can count on Ray to inform me on the best options for any of my issues.

If you need your water heater replaced, I highly recommend Ray with Sunny Ray's Construction. I was in need of a replacement and he was extremely responsive and easy to work with. His communication was excellent and the quality of his finished work was the same. I will be contacting him directly for any future plumbing needs.

I only added 1 star because I could not save the post without giving at least 1 star.
I would NOT use this service unless you want to be ripped off!
I had a leak and could not locate where it was coming from. Sunny Rays came to my home and cut a hole in the wall. He discovered the leak was coming from the back of my washer and said he does not do washer repairs. He charged me $590. He said to re-patch the wall would be an additional fee.

I had a a horrible smell coming from under my kitchen sink. After Ray removed my dishwasher, he discovered that there was a hole under my dishwasher and it caused the water to spread all under the all of the cabinets on one side of my kitchen. It caused mold. Ray and his team quickly assessed the problem and remodeled my kitchen and it looked better than when I moved in. I recommend Sunny Rays Construction for any plumbing and remodeling jobs.

While Ray is a personable guy who will show up quickly to offer repair work at a moment's notice, he lacks the skillset needed in some plumbing issues. Be careful!
When we first hired him for a broken water heater at the end of September, we were impressed by the speed and efficiency of the replacement and removal of our old water heater - even though the price he quoted us ended up nearly $300 higher than what he quoted us on the phone. (He will most likely inflate the price. He did this to us both times we hired him.)
Only a few days after the water heater repair, we ended up with a main water line break, and we asked if he'd take a look. What should have cost under $200 in materials and a few hours of his time took him an entire day because his joints and fittings were put together poorly. He actually tried hammering them together at one time! Long story short, at the end of the day, he gave one last attempt and left us with ""wet"" glue, no resolution, and no water, telling us to turn the water back on at 8:30, and all would be good to go. He asked us to sign his contract and pay him - wait for it - $2800! We paid even though my husband questioned the cost. Ray said that is what he charges for a day of labor - over $300/hour. (NOTE: Our family and neighbors did 99% digging using a tractor and shoveling.) Ray was there so long because he kept going through his materials, failing, and needing to drive back and forth to get more PVC and glue.
After he left us with the unfinished job, we waited until 9 p.m. to be safe before turning on the water, and sure enough, the pipes burst open again. We went the night without water.
Fixing main water lines is just not Ray's skillset. We asked for a refund the next day, seeing that nothing Ray ""repaired"" was fixed. Not one thing. We hired someone else who correctly chamfered and prepped the pipes, bought longer 20-foot pipes, and either used a superior glue or did proper prep work. Within 3 hours, the job was done correctly.
During our multiple attempts to communicate with Ray and get our money back, he sounded like a broken record, if he answered at all. ""We completed the job. It is warranted. I will not give you any money back. We'll fix it.""
He never listened when we said, ""We gave you multiple chances, Ray. We don't want you to come back. The pipes you attempted to repair couldn't withstand pressure above ground. We have no confidence in you any longer. We want our money back.""
He still refuses to refund us our $2800.
Today, we filed a formal complaint with the Contractors State License Board.
I hope Ray sticks to water heater repair and removals moving forward. That is the only thing he appears qualified to do.
