My floor buckled up badly from a leak somewhere. 3 different pros came with instruments and could not verify the leak spot with certainty. They then suggested to call the guru Mr. Zhao. He came with his assistant Mr. Li in 2 hrs and confirmed the leak spot in just 15 minutes without the need to use sophisticated instruments, just experience, and found the guest bathroom toilet bowl had lost the seal from apparent poor original installation 16 yrs ago. The wax seal had badly deteriorated and one of the flange anchor bolts was broken. The leak had been going on for a while evidenced by some tree roots found around the broken flange. They secured the opening for the night and came back the next morning with a new flange and did a very thorough job in placing new wax seals on both sides of the flange. Mr. Li noticed an anchor bolt was missing the plastic cover hat and said he would find one for me to save my trip to Home Depot. To my surprise he stop by the next morning with the cover hat free of charge. What a guy and expert team in fixing the leak problem so that I can go on with confidence in fixing my floor damages. I highly recommend Mr. Zhao and Mr. Li's service in leak detection and fixing.

He used my bathroom without asking .. and he had the audacity to said it was ok for him to pee in my bathroom because he fixed my lights ??? Like what I have a daughter that is NOT OKAY !!!

Fast, friendly service and very reasonable price for replacing a broken AC with a brand new unit.

Everything was done by code from pulling the city permit, replace old unit, to completion with inspection. Very professionally done.

Pipe burst in the condo wall and started flooding the place. We called the property manager emergency line and they said they would send someone eventually but could not provide an ETA. Since our place was literally flooding we frantically called the HOA who immediately dispatched Western Rooter to fix the issue. 6 hours later... we get a call from a random number... they say ""Ni Hao Ma"" and unintelligible Mandarin. The only English he knew was ""fix pipe"" and ""be there 4:30"". I said ""somebody else already took care of the issue"". He says ""be there 4:30"".. I say ""do not come"" he says ""be there 4:30"". He would not provide a license number.
I am not sure this is a legitimate plumbing company. Anyways, who knows if they will actually ""be there 4:30"" but the problem was already fixed and their complete lack of ability to communicate or provide a license number makes them hard to recommend.

This guy provides great service with a very reasonable price.
I had the water leakage in my bathroom and kitchen from the bottom of the wall. I had couple people to come for estimation and they told me different answers when I asked where the water came from. Of course they did the inspection by just looking at the wall and insisted to charge me once they pulled out the equipment, and the cost ranged from 150 dollars to 450 dollars. Basically the whole inspection was based on their experience with their eyes looking around.
But this guy started a simple water leakage detection with his equipment for free ad pinpointed where the leakage was in a few minutes. We discussed the price and he started the work right away. It did not take long to fix the problem and he gave me two years of warranty!
I am very satisfied with his service and will go back to him if I have plumbing issues!

This was hard giving them even 3 stars, but they were the ONLY plumbers to come within 2 hours of my roof leaking. Pretty much all they did was verify that the water heater on my roof was indeed leaking. They didn't speak English so unfortunately I was hard to communicate with them. When I asked for an estimate on the water heater fix job they said they would call me back in an hour and just picked up and left. Received a bill for $150. Great thanks.. that was kind of pointless.. luckily I had another plumber come and turn off the water heater valve and fix it the next day. Just still uneasy about my interactions with them and their invoice was quite outrages.

What: Had a slab leak that flooded our entire first floor and didn't know where to turn especially on a weekend. Fortunately, we were referred to Sun Yuan Supply by another plumbing company who said they were the best in the business of slab leak detection and resolving issues.

Arrival: Within an hour of our call, they came by with all of the high tech equipment needed to detect where the leak was coming from. Based upon our own visual clues, we thought the leak came from underneath one of the kitchen cabinets. However, we soon realized that there's so much involved than what one can see with the naked eye.

Leak Detection: The thermographic and audio equipment maps out where the pipes are hidden, but the extensive experience of the owner proved to be key in locating the leak. One thing that I was hoping for was to minimize the opening of walls, concrete slabs and again, experience matters. They opened small hole in the refrigerator drywall where access was blocked by several studs. They somehow knew that meant they could cut a larger opening at the adjoining closet wall (on the flip side). Lo and behold, they found the source of the slab leak in full view!

Repair: Talk about being prepared, they brought their concrete drill and worked away on freeing up the slab to get to the leaking pipe. I asked them how long it would take, the wonderful owner said it would be done today. Most companies on Yelp seem to take several days and trips to repair, so I was surprised. Before long the pipe was repaired and the concrete slab was patched.

It's a good thing the leak was in an area completely hidden inside the kitchen walls and closet, so the small wall openings aren't immediately visible to any guests. Again, experience is key and the owner came through big time for us. From arrival to completion, it took about 3 hours.

Cost: Considering how far they had to travel and working on a weekend, it was extremely cost effective.
