Sun Glow takes pride in our 40 years in the Portland metro area, catering to the HVAC needs of thousands local homes and enterprises.
Founded by Ed and Sharon Golobay in the year 1972, Sun Glow Inc. was built on the principle of delivering exceptional service. This identical principle of exceptional service is the cornerstone that family owners David and Dawn Golobay continue.

For more than five decades, Sun Glow has given back the Portland area, with the conviction that the growth of our family-operated business should also fulfill the needs of our team, but also serve the needs of our community when capabilities allow. We are proud of our community involvement and know it represents who we are.
David Golobay, entered his journey at Sun Glow at the age of 14 years. What started as a temporary position to compensate his parents for a broken window, evolved into a commitment to the family business. By the end of that first summer, he shared with his father his dream to one day manage the enterprise.

For the next five summers, David worked during the summer months. After graduating, he went to college while holding a part-time job, earning his associate's degree before advancing to OIT for Mechanical Engineering.

Nearly ten years ago, David was appointed the GM of Sun Glow. Just recently, David and his wife, Dawn, took ownership of Sun Glow and are following in their family's footsteps.

In his personal time, David is deeply involved in his local area, much like his father Ed. He participates in a host of committees, driven by a commitment to leave a meaningful contribution for not only his children but for all those he interacts with.
