Sun Glow takes pride in our four decades in the Portland metro area, fulfilling the climate control needs of numerous local homes and businesses.
Established by the Golobay family in the year 1972, Sun Glow Inc. originated on the belief of providing superior service. This core commitment of exceptional service is the foundation that next generation owners David and Dawn Golobay continue.

For more than five decades, Sun Glow has supported the local community, believing that the growth of our family-run business should not just satisfy the requirements of our team, but also address the requirements of our surroundings when resources allow. We are proud of our commitment to service and feel it shows who we strive to be.
David, the President of Sun Glow Inc., started his journey at Sun Glow at the age of 14 years. What initially was as a seasonal role to compensate his parents for a window incident, led to a lifelong passion. By the end of that first summer, he expressed with his father his dream to someday run the enterprise.

Over the next five years, David returned during school breaks. After finishing high school, he enrolled in college while working part-time, earning his Associates Degree before progressing to OIT for Mechanical Engineering.

Nearly a decade ago, David became the General Manager of Sun Glow. Just recently, David and his wife, Dawn, took ownership of Sun Glow and have continued in their parents' tradition.

Outside of work, David is deeply involved in his community, much like his father Ed. He serves a host of boards, driven by a desire to create a lasting legacy for not only his family but for all those he meets.
