Company Overview

Sun Glow takes pride in our 40 years in the greater Portland region, addressing the heating needs of numerous residential properties and businesses.
Created by the Golobay family in the early 70s, Sun Glow Inc. was founded on the commitment of delivering superior service. This same belief of outstanding service is the bedrock that next generation owners David & Dawn Golobay continue.

Over the past 53 years, Sun Glow has contributed the Portland area, believing that the prosperity of our family-run business should also satisfy the needs of our employees, but also address the needs of our community when means allow. We take pride in our commitment to service and feel it represents who Sun Glow is.
David, the President of Sun Glow Inc., started his journey at Sun Glow at the age of fourteen. What started as a summer job to make amends for his parents for a window incident, led to a desire to lead the business. By the end of that first summer, he expressed with his father his dream to someday manage the company.

In the following summers, David continued during summers. After graduating, he attended college while balancing work, earning his Associates Degree before advancing to OIT for Mechanical Engineering.

About a decade back, David was appointed the manager of Sun Glow. Just recently, David and his wife, Dawn, acquired Sun Glow and are following in their family's tradition.

In his personal time, David is deeply involved in his local area, much like his father Ed. He is a member of a number of boards, inspired by a goal to leave a meaningful contribution for not only his family but for all those he interacts with.
