Sun Glow takes pride in our 40 years of dedicated service in the Portland community, addressing the climate control needs of numerous local homes and commercial establishments.
Established by Ed and Sharon Golobay in 1972, Sun Glow Inc. originated on the principle of offering exceptional service. This same commitment of exceptional service is the bedrock that family owners David and Dawn Golobay uphold.

For more than five decades, Sun Glow has supported the local community, with the conviction that the success of our family-operated business should also satisfy the needs of our employees, but also serve the needs of our local area when resources allow. We take pride in our commitment to service and feel it represents who we strive to be.
David Golobay, entered his journey at Sun Glow at the age of fourteen. What began as a seasonal role to make amends for his parents for a window incident, evolved into a lifelong passion. By the end of that first summer, he shared with his father his aspiration to one day manage the family business.

For the next five summers, David returned during summers. After finishing high school, he went to college while working part-time, earning his associate's degree before progressing to OIT for further studies in Mechanical Engineering.

About ten years ago, David took on the role of the manager of Sun Glow. Just recently, David and his wife, Dawn, purchased Sun Glow and have carried on in their parents' tradition.

Beyond his professional life, David is actively engaged in his local area, much like his father Ed. He serves a number of committees, motivated by a desire to create a meaningful contribution for not only his loved ones but for all those he comes into contact with.
