The damage was extensive, Summit Handyman was very transparent with his estimate of cost. We didn't know what all needed done until drywall, subfloor and exterior siding were removed. Everything was repaired well, I was kept up to date on all work. As the house was going on the market, they even chipped in and helped me remove wallpaper from my daughter's room. I have since hired them for every home repair job I need.

I cant honestly say much. I called, received a return message and have since called twice more with no call back. I was looking forward to working with these folks based on the wonderful reviews and had several items on his list of services I needed done. Bummer!

Unprofessional. Made an appointment for work, never showed up. Called several times, with no response. Finally called to see what the issue was, they danced around the subject like they couldnt do the job, looked too difficult. Should have said that when you came out to look at the job. Plenty of good contractors in the area, avoid the bs and move on.

I would provide 0 stars if possible. I had a leaky toilet that was dripping water into some ceiling tiles in my basement. I had Summit come to fix the leak and replace the tiles. The technician told me the wax ring needed to be replaced, and that would likely take care of the leak. If it didn't, that meant the flange would need to be repaired/replaced. He finished the work, replaced the ceiling tile, and also managed to (1) leave scratches on my wood floor when removing the toilet, and (2) left all of the garbage and old ceiling tiles in a mess on my floor without cleaning up. Two days later, I spotted more water in the new tiles, and discovered the toilet was still leaking. I called in a plumber, who took one look at it and said the wax ring wasn't installed properly. They put on a new wax ring, and the toilet is now working just fine.

To make matters even worse, the owner promised to refund me half of my $160 that I paid (not sure why he wouldn't refund all of my money given that the work didn't address the problem), but despite numerous attempts to contact him, he refused to actually send this refund. Please avoid this business at all costs.

Don't look up any more reviews Dave is the guy to call!! I had Dave and his partner Gene at our house recently to tackle an array of small home projects I had mounting (installing new shower head, mounting 2 large mirrors, installing curtain rods, touch up paint, shaving off the bottom of a door to fit room etc). There was nothing these two couldn't do and it was done with efficiency and care. They were both very courteous and professional and definitely people you would want in your home to tackle certain jobs. We still have a few things to get done in our house so I will definitely be calling them back to finish up our projects!!

Well I called this place because of the reviews on Yelp. Dave called me back a few hours later. Asked me a couple questions about what is needed. He said he'll call me back when his work is done that day, but never did. So I cannot comment on the quality of the work. He probably thinks the job is too small (repairing a toilet) because he also asked if there was anything else I needed done.

We recently painted our cabinets but had difficulty getting the doors back on and aligned properly. Additionally three drawer rails and two cabinet hinges had broken and the anchors for two shelves needed reinforcing. After a detailed conversation with Dave about the areas needing attention, Dave came out as promised, on time and finished all fix-it items in no time flat. I know these were minor repairs in the scheme of things, but wanted to draw attention to Dave and his commitment to taking on even the small jobs. I absolutely will be calling Dave back as new things crop up.

Dave and his partner just sealed my large deck that was in serious need of work. He also replaced a number of boards. It was 90 degrees and he and his partner worked diligently without a break. Wow did they work hard. First day they power washed the deck and removed the boards needing replacement. They were promptly back the next day and qualitatively finished the job. The cost was very reasonable, they were courteous and very helpful with helping us select the proper coating.

This is the first time I worked with Dave. I needed help with a rental unit repairs. He showed up on time and the fix was done. The tenants were happy. Everything went smoothly from appointment, payment (online chase quickpay) and online receipts. I will definitely contact him again for future needs.
