This company sends out technicians (Craig), who have no idea what they are doing or how to find the problem. They sell you things you don't need and refuse to refund you any money back. Even when you get a 2nd opinion from another tech who says that you shouldn't have to pay. When you call to speak to a manager, they have an employee call you back. I would never call them for anything ever again.

Call someone else. My neighbors recommended A Able. I actually used them once for a 911 water heater issue on a Sunday & they were great. Didn't think to transfer heating & air. Wish I would have. You will have nothing but problems & return visits to hopefully get it right. After 10 years, the negative experiences well out weigh what was at one time positive. Save your money and time & call another company. Just no good.

I've never had an A/C tuneup (?) so I do not have anything to compare to. Chad came out and was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Helpful tips and suggestions for furnace add-ons without being pushy. I've used Summers for heating and plumbing and with having the maintenance agreement providing discounts and scheduling priority, I have no complaints. I like using one company for more than just one service, so I appreciate the help Chad and the others have provided.

Call somebody else anybody else they came to the house to do a furnace tuneup cleaning and whatever everything was working fine they told me I needed $1700 worth of repairs on a unit that was 10 years old this was on a rental property I told him to just do the cleanup and the tuneup and I left later found out that they were scaring the tenant they turned off the gas and electric and left so I went down to the property opened up the furnace they had not done any of the cleaning and tuneup that I'd pay for just scared the tenant and left I did not call for repairs I called for a cleaning and tuneup it's still working fine

After a wonderful experience with Summers for our plumbing issue, I called them to come fix our A/C. When asked how old our system was, I was informed that a more experienced tech would be out to look it within the day. Upon arrival, the ""tech"" did not present with a mask. After looking at our system, it was determined that it should be replaced. We were told it would be roughly $900 to add r-22 because they also needed to run a test and that we would be wasting our money. The salesman that was sent in disguise of a tech offered us a new system with ""things thrown in."" I believe they had no intention of fixing our unit due to its age. Very frustrating. We chose a different company to get the job done.

I would not recommend doing business with summers.

I got a mailer from them for a tuneup for $64. The tech came out, sprayed my ac unit with a hose and determined that I should get a new one bc there was deterioration on the coils but did none of the other items on the time-up list (except check Freon levels... which were missing 2lbs of Freon according to him). I told him I would need to get additional estimates and wasn't prepared to buy a new unit. He told me it would still be $64 because there was a ""trip fee"". I told him that was absurd because that wasn't listed on the flyer I got. He said fine he'd knock of $10. I was running late for work, so I went ahead and wrote him a check

I called another hvac guy to take a look at my unit and he said I didn't need a new one, and that my Freon levels were fine.

So I realized, no, that's not right! So I called and talked to the ""branch manager"" steve and he was shocked that his tech hadn't performed any of the items on the tube up and offered to refund my money. He then said ""I would like to come take a look at it myself just to give my opinion too""

Well. Weeks later I haven't gotten a refund so I sent them a message. Just got off the phone w steve who says he told me he could ""either give me a refund or come look at it"". I didn't need him to look at it, I already got a second opinion. I thought it was great initially that he offered a refund (for services not rendered) but it's a shame that he has now changed his story. Wish I had read reviews on their company before even having them waste my time with essentially all that turned out to be a paid new a/c unit estimate.

I had wonderful experiences with Summers. The first time I used them was on July 4th. They came out to solve a water leak and didn't charge an arm and a leg to come out on a holiday. Then I decided to get a service agreement and they came to inspect my plumbing system and made recommendations. They fixed those for a nominal fee. Recently I got a whole new HVAC system from them. The installation was done quietly, neatly and efficiently. They cleaned up and weren't bothered that I had a dog. The men who came were exceptionally nice and polite. Everyone showed up on time and even made sure I knew they were on the way. Appointments also confirmed the day before. I'm very pleased that I found this company.

I wish I could give them a negative star! Non-existent customer service! I truly regret purchasing my new furnace and A/C from them. I over paid for what I received and have had numerous issues with it. Of course, the only appointment that went well was the first...when they were selling me the unit!!! It has been nothing but a nightmare since. Saying they are available 24/7 is a complete joke - they are only available from about 9-3:30 unless they are trying to sell you something! The on-call technicians do not want to work and will not show up. Save yourself some money, grief and headaches and go elsewhere...don't waste your money with them!

Beware of these people, my wife called them to come to our house for a check up, our system is and has been running fine . They replaced the run capacitor, I looked the part up online and found it priced at $4.19. It took less than 5 minutes to change. He sprayed the outside unit with the water hose then went inside to check the filter which I ended up having to get out myself it wasn't to bad yet but got ruined when it was removed, lucky I had one to put back in. He was here less then a hour and handed us a bill for $327.00. The portion of the bill for the capacitor was
$ 268.00. The wife paid with a credit card , called the bank and disputed the charge . We were never told about this outrageous price before the work was done . I hope this review saves someone from the aggravation we went through, I was going on vacation that day and it caused me to have some sleepless nights. I wonder how many elderly folks they have pulled this scam on, at $ 327.00 a hour. They can't possibly have a conscience.

We had one toilet and a shower valve replaced. We also had our A/C checked and replaced a capacitor. All visits were scheduled and fit our activity schedule. We were given the option to purchase the toilet so that we would keep the cost lower than if they supplied it. The repairs were explained throughly.
