I haven't used them for plumbing and heating, and I won't and here's why.....I had noticed that their drivers are terrible, cutting people off, rolling stops at stop signs, but today took the cake. I saw an employee pumping gas into a company vehicle while smoking a cigarette! I notified the attendant and they said he does that all the time! Not only is that unprofessional, it's incredibly dangerous! If that's their level of integrity and how they represent themselves there's no way I'd let them in my house.

I scheduled my annual heating and cooling checkups, per my agreement. Service people came out for the heating system, and two different men on different visits told me my 9 year old system was builders grade, and was wearing through the exchange system... a fire hazard. They showed me pictures of the inside supposedly, where the heat had burned holes through the equipment. They both tried to sell me a new system for $14,000 -$15,000 to avoid the ""Fire hazard"". Thankfully, I contacted a retired HVAC person who agreed to come check it out. There was no problem! No need to be replaced...
Similarly, they had checked on my air conditioning system and said there was no problem. A few weeks after that visit, my air conditioner went out, so I called this retired man to check it. He showed me that they had previously used the wrong size capacitor in mine, and had jerry rigged it with ties to fit mine. It was what caused the problem , so this man replaced it with the larger required capacitor and it worked fine.

I have found others since then who have faced the same scam, and have been intimidated into buying the new systems for thousands of dollars...
what a ripoff!

I called to have them fix our furnace. The guy on the phone asked what year it is, which I answered (1972). He made the appt and the tech showed up, later than estimated, but he showed up. My husband showed him the furnace and explained what was wrong. The tech took a pic with his phone and said he won't be able to get any parts since they stop offering parts after like 20 years. First, if they can't get any parts - why set me up with an appt? Oh I know, it's so they can try to sell me a unit! He gave us pricing for a replacement unit and charged us $99! Yes, $99 for what turned out to be a quote! He was supposed to send me a receipt by email, which I never received. Did the tech pocket the cash? I'm going to call the office in the morning and see what they tell me.

I do NOT recommend this company! If they would've told me over the phone that the visit was for a quote to sell me their products and service, I would've known what to expect. But to send someone out as a service call, just to mislead me, is untrustworthy! They just lost a customer and a sale, as we will now purchase elsewhere!

Had a leak in a shower. Called Summers to repair it. After paying over $450 for the ""repair"" I was told by my tenant that there remained dripping into the basement from the shower. So I contacted summers again expecting the job to be done right. They claimed the repair from before was not the problem and charged me another $370. I will NEVER use this vendor again. They DO NOT stand behind their work.

The last place in the world I'd recommend to do anything at my house. They send kids over with little to no experience, who then call the ""professional"" on FaceTime to walk them through the work. To say the least it's poorly poorly done. I don't get how they are even in business. Half the time the guy on FaceTime is screaming at the kid that's he's not taking the picture correctly. It's really baffling they exist. Call literally anyone else. Everything they've done has had to be redone. I can't emphasize that more.

Summers only wants to rope you in to a maintenance program that is complete BS. They've been repairing some toilets for the past two years. They just canceled another appointment today that was to be between 10-12. They called after 11 to say they wanted to reschedule!!! Unfortunately I have this thing called a JOB. Their HVAC Service is just as bad. Stay away from these guys.
