So disappointed. We have had a contract for heating, cooling and plumbing for several years with Summers. They had a tech named Tony who was dependable and always fixed the problems we had. He no longer works there. We called for a plumber and were told someone would be there around 1. We called at 4:15 and were told the plumber had a situation that was taking longer. Formerly the company would call and inform us that the tech would be late. This time no call. The plumber did call at 6:30. This first comment was this was going to be an after hours call. Then he did say there were no after hours increases for contract holders. Then he proceed to say it would be $59 service fee and $350 - $450 to use the auger to free up this drain. He quoted that price without even looking at the problem. I did appreciate the upfront price quote since the cost is outragious. We called a local pulmber who freed the slow drain for $140. We have cancelled our contract.

I've made the mistake of hiring them for several different plumbing issues around my house over the course of two years. After a couple thousand dollars spent, I can safely say none of the problems have been fixed, no refunds have been issued, and no warranties have been honored. They're also really big on upselling. You have to wait through an incredibly pushy pitch for their subscription/membership service before you can even get the diagnosis for the problem you called them out for. Save yourself the money and go with a different plumber from the start.

I'm not going to ding them for the fact that you have to pay $99 just to have a plumber grace you with their presence, mostly due to the fact that's normal for most companies. However, I will give them a one-star for their completely unprofessional customer service. I called and set an appointment last week and was told it would be today between Noon and 2 pm. By 3 pm when no one had showed up, I called to find out when they would be here assuming that the professional had been busy and would be here late. The guy on the phone claimed that no time was given to me and they could be here at any time in the afternoon. I explained that I was given a time and that I can't just wait around all day for the plumber to show up, and that I'd like a time. After he didn't give me a time and reiterated, rudely, that the plumber would be there in the afternoon, I let him know I'd go somewhere else. After talking with yet another person on their team, they made it clear they don't care about the inconvenience this has caused or the attitude of their team member. I'm sure the professionals who are doing the work at people's houses are great, but their customer service team is absolute garbage. If you want to avoid the hassle of a company that doesn't give a damn about you, go somewhere else.

We were having trouble with our heat pump/AC. Had Summers out for $59 inspection special. We were told unit was a low grade contractor model(poor quality) and too old (9yrs) to be fixed so we would need a new one. We were also told that new heat pumps aren't compatible with our current furnace, so we would need a new furnace too. Was quoted over $12,000.00.
Got a 2nd opinion - from other company in town. It isn't a low grade unit.
We only had to replace fan - $300.

Overpriced all they are about is replacement not fixing a part. Took weeks to do maintenance pre paid that is. Other repairmen do not recommend this company. No integrity save yourself $$ go with independent repairmen.
