Run not walk away from this company!!, I was having trouble with my heat pump and furnace, had a coupon and they had a deal were there would come out and do a estimate. Thy did arrive on time, tried in vain to sell me a new unit, said that one of the of the parts that was rusty cost nearly $1500 and called it something other thank what it actually was. I had 2 additional companies out Actually hiring the 3rd Affordable Heating and Cooling. These people are amazing!! Extremely affordable and fast! Making it able to get us a complete new system for $6700. Plus removing all the old equipment, leaving no mess. It doesn't get much better than that.

Today we had our brand new heat pump serviced today by Eric R. He was very polite, prompt and explained everything he was doing. We had purchased new filters for our system and he was happy to change those out as well. After completing our service, he had asked what setting our thermostat was set on and he adjusted it to our comfort level. This business is the best, every time we call, we are treated with the best customer service that we have dealt with. Summers is the answer for all of your plumbing, heating & cooling needs.

I was overcharged. I was charged $90 and nothing was done. There was a second guy from the same company that came out a few days later admitted the first guy overcharged me for doing nothing. So the second guy checked out my furnace for free.

6/19/2019 I would not give them even 1 star if I could
I had summer heating and cooling /plumbers put in a new furnace and central air and change the bathtub, they were supposed to move return air duct ,they did not. they were supposed to clean ducts in the floor, they did not. even tho. I paid to have it done. keep reading it get worse. they said they would change the bathtub and shower liner. but we would need to take the window out because the new liner could not be cut around it ..so we took out the window before they started. they also said that because of the tub and liner was made that they would need to cut out the dry wall around and behind the tub and liner. and that all we would need to do afterwards was replace a narrow strip of dry wall around the edge of the tub and liner. when they were finish the tub is now 2"" inches from the wall studs. there is no way to cover up that wide of a gap from the wall. the shower head is not mounted to the wall either .it now moves back and forth in the wall. I notice the fault was so tight against the wall it was all I could do to turn it on. so I went in the closet and looked at how it was put in. when they tore out the old fault they also tore out the 2x4 that it was mounted to. when they put the new fault in they put a 2x4 in side the closet moving where it was mounted out all most 4"" inches making the new faults to short to reach correctly into the tub ..to make matters worse went I called to have them fix these problems ,they came out and looked at the mess and said to my face that it was all done correct. I will never use them again and if I could afford it I would sue

If I could give them less than one star I would. They were the worst company to deal with for HVAC. I will NEVER use them again. They were a total sham. Only wanted to sell me a new unit. I had a second opinion come out and they were able to get the ac unit up and running that day. They were also half the cost for an AC unit. When Summers was out i felt the technician was a used car sales person. He was awful. Definitely not high on customer service skills. He was trying to scare me into getting AC replaced that day. Didn't tell me that i could fix it with just one part instead recommended a pricey repair so that I'd buy a new unit. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Also when I called Customer service to tell them about this, their customer service manager Megan Taylor was awful. She would not help refund the fees and was completely rude. Only wanted to send an email response so she didn't have to call me. I asked to speak to her manager and got sent to a random voicemail box with no name. Definitely not high on customer relations.

I didn't have a good experience with Summers recently. It was towards end of Feb when my eight year old furnace stop working the way it should. I ended up buying a new furnace from Summers which they charged me more than double the price I found on internet. This was an emergency and I had to take a quick decision being a weekend no heat and chilling cold (arctic blast) so I decided to buy this over priced furnace from them. On top of this the technicians who came to install didn't provide quality service. One of the technicians was in bad mood (upset over something) and was handling the installation very roughly. That rough handling even caused some dents in the sheet-metal. There shoes had mud/dirty and they didn't wear the shoe covers which made the wooden floor and basement stairs all stained. They were smoking in the driveway and left the cigarette butts on the driveway. No one from customer service even called after the installation to get a feedback about customer satisfaction and there was no survey sent to date.
After this experience I am not going to go with them again or recommend to anyone. There are many other good providers available in the market whom I came to know later.

I have nothing personal against Summers technicians, each one that has been to my house has been friendly and courteous .... I keep a maintenance agreement with summers for both heating and plumbing.... I added a new sump pump for almost $1000.OO with a 5 year warranty in Sept 2018.....
Then this March 2019 right after my home plumbing is given the once over and a clean bill of health, My Basement Floods (2) TWICE in a 24 hour period, i am told maybe i have a clogged line, but that was cut after the first dump of water into my basement from the sump... they replace the pump and have it tested, report comes back No Issues with pump.... So Far I Have Put $ 4500.00 out of pocket (credit card) cause who has that kind of cash--- Not Me..... This should have been Summers!!!
Explain to me Why Summers is not paying for these repairs when right after work is done on my pump and discharge line I have two failures in less than 24 hours,,,, your company is insured for this ,,,, why am i being punished... my once beautifully finished basement is torn apart, i have been quoted 10-14 thousand (minus what i already paid out of pocket) to get it back to normal....

Do The Right Thing ,,, Things were adjusted and moved around on the 18th in that pit, then i have 2 FAILURES.... I AM BROKE, AND YOU SIT BACK LIKE IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT..............

My mother called them after her normal person had closed. They came out to do the spring maintenance. while they were there they informed her she would need a new AC unit $6000. Well my mother was trying to be nice since I work two jobs and not much free time. But she informed me of this on a Saturday. So Sunday I went down looked at the AC unit and furnace witch was only 2 years old. With at that time we only paid 3400 for the entire system. They did not sweep out the unit or clean the outside unit. Looks like they only changed the filter. She called them Monday and canceled this install. We have had another company come look at the unit and all was OK. They need to stop taking advantage of the elderly. We will never use them or any of there franchises again.
