My shower connection with pipe from the wall came apart on Friday morning. I overnighted a new handheld shower head from Amazon. I couldn't get the new shower assembly to fit on the pipe. The old connector had stripes of metal like wire inside it - the wall pipe was corroded and coming off in pieces.

So after Quick Look at YouTube I realized replacing the wall pipe was too big of a job for me. So I checked Yelp. Based on 5 Star ratings I reached out to Summers Plumbing. I was surprised when Robert answered the phone. He said he'd be over in 20 minutes to take a look.

He tried to put shower back together but unfortunately, the wall pipe was too corroded and stripped. So Robert said he could come back today in morning.

Pipe did not give up without a fight - but fortunately, Robert won the battle and removed it without having to pop a hole in my bedroom wall.

So now I have a lovely brushed nickel shower head.

He didn't have time today to replace my shower handle, trim and clicker. But agreed to come back in 2 weeks.

But Best of all he was able to tighten our sink facet that's been repeatedly loosening and driving us crazy!!

Highly recommend this very experienced, knowledgeable plumber.

I chose to use Summers Plumbing to replace a water heater based on all the positive reviews and Robert's years of experience. As everyone has said, Robert is no-nonsense and wants to do what's best for the customer. He talked me out of a choice that would have made him more money but would not have been the best for me. I was dead-set on getting a tankless water heater and he explained some of the drawbacks so I went with a tank heater and he installed it the same day. He cleaned up some weird piping from the previous install and I am very happy with the results. Robert is very friendly and easy to talk to and he educated me about how water heaters work. I highly recommend Summers Plumbing for any of your plumbing needs!

This is one of those reviews that is worth reading.

Since we had a couple of running water issues here at our house, I had made an appointment with another plumbing company earlier in the day and asked several questions.

By the time I got off the phone she scheduled an appointment for next week, but I didn't feel good about the conversation, so I kept thinking I was going to look around for another plumbing company.

After 6:00 pm I went into Yelp and typed in Plumber. After I entered the required information, I was immediately contacted by Robert, the owner. After a couple texts messages he was here in 15 minutes and finished 15 minutes later.

We struck up a great conversation, he was extremely polite and professional, and he didn't mind coming in last minute or after hours.

His prices were great, his service and quality were excellent and he did not try and make extra money because of the late service.

We live in a community with an HOA, so Robert will always have our services and I will definitely reference him to any of my family members and friends.

Very responsive to a late night service call. Drove over an hour to stop a leak for us and was very pleasant. Respectful and a great value for emergency repairs. We love that YELP gave us the ability to request this service of several companies and Summers was quick to respond

Robert, the owner of Summers Plumbing deserves the five stars. I have used him several times now and I could not be happier. Living in Ventura for 40 plus years I have used the locally known names and have not been as happy. He is very fair in price, responds quickly, and is in an out before you know it with everything cleaned up. Give him a shot. You will be glad you did. I know I am sticking with him.

Great plumber! Robert replied to my voicemail within 10 minutes (unheard of), then worked with my schedule, showed up ON TIME (wait it gets better) super polite, super helpful, super clean, super communicative and...super reasonable price! Astonishing. He and his assistant were a pleasure to work with, accomodating, and gave their best under difficult circumstances (a rental property with unknown plumbing history).
