I had Sullivan come out to check my air conditioner. Gordon came out and was very professional. He told me I didn't need anything now but maybe in a year or two. I was very happy with their service. They discussed getting a monthly service contract which I will consider
Very disappointed in Sullivan Plumbing.I knew it was clogged. Was more concerned why you charged $206 for the few minutes to use the auger.I asked if the $50 fee was deducted,Jack said he gave me a better discount.Since this was a.new commode I wanted a reason as to why this occurred. He suggested a commercial high power flush commode for a$1000.He even had the audacity to call Bell Supply and said he would pick it up at no charge. Highway robbery taking advantage of a 82 yr old.

Bruce K.I would like to say thank you to this company. My family was having furnace issues and we called Sullivan's Super Service. They sent out the nicest most knowledgeable tech, his name was Marc. This guy was good he accessed the problem and two other problems we did not know about. The next day two service guys came fixed our furnace in an hour, fixed a couple connections( we run off of propane) and a piece of ductwork. I'm really amazed at how diffrent the furnace runs now and the house is warmer. These people are worth every penny. This is a good professional, polite and cost effective company. I will never call anyone except these guys. Thank you again. HAPPY AND WARM
Desiree C.9000 for Sewer Replacement & 5500 for Stack Repair - CALL ELSEWHERE- Fraudulent. Unethical, & Unprofessional
Read this so you're not taken advantage of their fake A+ BBB claim and $64 Special like I was.
Here's how I got taken advantage of by NOT so Super Sullivan Plumbing Company located in Mckeesport, PA.
Ugh! The sewage was backing up into my basement and my home warranty company & their plumbers weren't helping me at all.
I called Super Sullivan to take advantage of their advertised $64 Service Special and great reviews - bad mistake.
Yes, they were very nice and charming and with an overuse of ""sweetheart"" ""hun"" and ""honey"", it was easy to hand over my other quotes, warranty information, and even my homeowner's insurance. (like a fool)
In my defense, I'm a new homeowner, single mom, and disabled veteran who was in a desperate situation.
Anyway, Shawn told me the stack was connected to the house trap....My wipes went into my neighbor's yard (60ft down a wooded downhill away) and the p trap in front of the house ...well he wasn't sure what was wrong but he knew one thing... it all needed to be replaced and immediately!
He assured me that if I didn't sign right now then the sewage would back up into the house immediately. But I shouldn't worry because he was going to do all the work himself in 3 days and collect the cash for 1500 at the end.
That's not what happened and I never received an ounce of paperwork, only a maxed-out credit card, and bill. WTF!?
I tried to get some information on what was wrong and why I needed the service and why their price didn't match the local averages, but they refused to help me and even ignored my BBB complaint.
Yeah, they don't have an At rating.
Anyway, learn from mistakes. Just call elsewhere.
Food C.I got an estimate for a tankless water heater. The rep did not explain anything nor did he tell me about various models. He said the 150,000 BTU would be ""fine"" for my home. I got another estimate from a respected HVAC business. The explained my options and told me the difference between their tankless water heater systems. The recommended the 199,000 BTU. The wrote the estimate and it was THOUSANDS LESS THAN SULLIVAN!!! I called the company and spoke with Mike. I cancelled my service plan. I then proceeded to tell him why. His response was ""ok"". He did not explain why their estimate was THOUSANDS MORE FOR A LESSER OLDER PRODUCT. He did not say we can match that price. He did not apologize. He simply said ""ok"". My advice to you as a home owner or business owner is to stay away from them unless you do not care about price and inferior products.
Like Mike said-ok.
A complete disaster. Bathtub and toilet were draining very slowly so we figured there was clog somewhere so we called Sullivan on a Wednesday. They came right out, which was great. Unfortunately, Jordan and another guy came and wasn't able to clear the clog. Said we had a broken pipe in the yard (which we now highly suspect was not true and was just a clogged line). Paid over $5,000 to have the line dug up and clogged cleared. They were out the next day on Thursday to dig the yard. The digger Rob and his guy were great. They seem to be the only ones at Sullivan who know what they are doing. Dug up and replaced the ""broken"" pipe but didn't clear the clog.
Friday, Jordan was back out and made everything worse. After he tried clearing the clog, the tub would no longer drain at all. He left with a foot of water in the tub saying it should drain. What?!? It never did so we contacted him before lunch that same Friday. His answer...he'll send another technician...on Monday. So we had to do with not be able to use the water over the weekend. Thanks. Two other Sullivan ""technicians"" came out Monday and couldn't do a thing. That's 4 ""plumbers"" or ""technicians"" over 6 days that couldn't clear it. Then the worthless Jordan calls Tuesday and recommends calling another plumber to fix it. What did we pay you over $5000 for???
So we called A-1 Seware Cleaning Specialists - they came out the same day and cleared the clog in less than 10 minutes (and confirmed that sullivan likely completely clogged up the pipe trying to clear the slow drain). Probably didn't even have to do the digging and pipe replacement if we would have just called A1 first.....
If you have a plumbing issue, do yourself DO NOT CALL SULLIVAN. Sullivan might be good at hvac, we don't know one way or the other but we do know that they are not good with plumbing. So bad that we can't imagine they do much well. How do you finish a job that you were paid thousands for by saying, you need to call a better plumber?
Jason R.If I could I'd give them 10 stars. It seems like everyone is just about the money these days. This company saved me thousands of dollars while treating me like I was important. I highly recommend them. They remind me of how things used to be done.
John S.VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I'd give these guys 0 stars if I could since we had an appointment scheduled and they never showed up. My wife even took off work for it and when she called to see where they were they told her they're short staffed so she'd need to reschedule. No thanks. Go elsewhere people!!
Mike G.Quoted us at $6,000-$12,000 to fix a plumbing issue, got a second opinion and turned out their diagnosis was completely wrong and it was a $250 fix.
