We paid for installation through Lowe's for a hot water tank. Suburban Plumbing sent their guy out. After looking at my existing water tank for a minute, he informed me there would be an extra $196 he would have to charge on top of the $345 I had already paid Lowe's. I asked him to specify what the charges were for... As an example of the absurdity, there was a $33 charge for 4 feet of pvc to attach to pressure relief valve. When questioned on the ridiculous cost he said it was an agreed upon price that Lowe's set (a lie, per Lowe's). He asked for the money and suggested I write the company a check instead of paying Lowe's directly (wrong, per Lowe's), told me Lowe's wouldn't install if I refused their installation (a lie, per Lowe's), and then refused to leave my water tank/parts that I had paid for after I refused his trumped up install charges (which Lowe's said was illegal to do). I wouldn't recommend this company and their scamming, lying installers to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

I've had similar problems as a previous customer here with them trying to extort money out of me. Said I was forced to buy a new supply line or they wouldn't do the work. I did speak with lowes on the matter said that they had no right to demand what they did. Also 25 dollars for a 6 dollar supply line is just insane. Please dont use this company for their gross misconduct and threats of not doing work if not willing to pay extra. Which is against the contract signed with Lowes.

Suburban installed a ""new"" kitchen faucet in a home we recently closed on. However, the faucet doesn't appear to be any where near new. And it was leaking. Contacted them with receipt. They asked for pics and then ignored me after seeing them. Shady? Yes. $160 for the type of faucet they installed is ridiculous. That wasn't even labor, just the faucet. They definitely don't stand by their work as stated.

Had a quote from Suburban and could not believe the amount they wanted that others were quoting about half their price. Even the price he was saying for the parts was ridiculous. Don't bother with this company.

Had someone from Suburban Plumbing come out to install an American Standard toilet we purchased from Lowes. We paid Lowes for installation. He isn't in the house more than 3 minutes when he asks if we purchased a new water line going to the toilet. I said no and he said he can sell us one for 15.00 (and change) otherwise they won't guarantee their work. A couple of minutes go by and then he told us that because we currently have a Toto toilet it will cost an additional $60.00 to uninstall it. Then he said he might not be able to install the new toilet anyway because even though Toto says theirs is a 12"" rough in, sometimes Toto's specs are off and the Toto toilet might actually be for a 10"" rough in. I said it is a 12"" rough in because this wasn't the first toilet with a 12"" rough in we had in this bathroom. I also said we already paid for installation at Lowes but he said if we want the toilet installed we have to pay him more money (than we already paid Lowes) or he will leave. I said goodbye and take the Lowes toilet back. THE NEXT DAY, after some research on Lowes part I find out that it had NOTHING to do with the brand (Toto). The extra money was because the toilet had a concealed trap. That was never explained to us by the installer. Lowes found us another installer and gave us a significant discount because of the trouble we went thru.

Unbelievable. Jim and his crew were on time and professional. The work was of excellent quality. I was impressed by the work completed and to price was much less than expected.

We purchased a new bathroom vanity through Lowes because we were updating the half bath in our new home.

Lowes subcontracts their install work to various contractors and we were lucky that Suburban got the job.

Their service tech did a great job removing the old vanity and installing the new one. He was very professional and would be happy to rehire them for our future plumbing needs.
