Hi All, I wrote a review for Daniel Hernandez, who owns Subsurface Leak Solutions, on November 1, 2024, for an underground leak repair completed on another site. We chose Subsurface Leak Solutions because Daniel told us the detection and leak repair would be under warranty for two years. Although they were more expensive than other companies, we chose them due to this guarantee.

Fast forward, one month later: the underground leak recurred. Daniel forced me to sign a leak detection and repair estimate before reinspecting the property, despite the leak being in the same location they previously repaired. When his repair person, Victor (his nephew), came out, he found the leak was in the same pipe, just two inches away. In the original repair, Victor did not completely replace the entire section as most plumbers would. Although this was an error in the original repair, Daniel now wants to recharge us several thousand dollars more. We opted not to use Daniel for this repair, which should have been covered under warranty.

As advised, beware of Subsurface Leak Solutions and Daniel Hernandez. They prey on individuals desperate for repairs. To me, they appear either dishonest or incompetent plumbers; avoid using their services.

This guy is outstanding. Plenty of great businesses in the pool industry but they're often clouded by all the flakes. Subsurface Leak Solutions is top notch, honest, has great communication, and is reliable. I'd recommend him to everyone who needs leak detection. Great company I'm happy to vouch for.

I was dealing with the situation of a palm tree being too close to pool plumbing. Roots had encapsulated a line and I accidently broken the line in the removal of the roots in a tight spot. Daniel was recommended for the repair and was also a specialist in determining if I had done addition damage. He performed an excellent repair and provided important information regarding determining further damage. Excellent service and expertise.
