We were in a panic when our septic failed - our yard has wetlands and we had no idea what that would mean for replacement. Stuth made the process so easy! They fit us in quickly, our yard is all back to normal, and our system is exactly what we needed for our property and large family. Thank you for helping keep our home functional!!

I would highly recommend Stuth to anyone in need of septic work. They are quick, reasonably priced, and very accommodating to their customers. We were under contract to sell our home in February and a septic inspection was required for the sell of the home. Stuth got out the same day we requested the service. Unfortunately the inspection did not pass and a new system was required to be installed before the sell of the house could go through. Although process to get a new septic system installed in King County is long and difficult, Stuth did everything they could to speed the process along and get our work scheduled as soon as possible to accommodate our tight schedule. After getting several bids for the work, I can say they did this work at a reasonable and fair price. Our contact at Stuth, Katrina, was very responsive and helped us to navigate the process with inspections, designers and County approval. If you need septic work done, I recommend reaching out to Stuth.

I needed an emergency repair to repair a failed line to my tank. Others wanted to look, bid and schedule. Those who have had this problem know how hard it is to live without using water. Stuth realized my dilemma, scheduled the appointment, and came out, did the work, and showed the fix before covering. They even checked the other tank points without being asked. Quality was excellent and price was fair. This is the company you want.

I'd give these guys ten stars if I could. Had a bit of a backlog so they opened on a Saturday to help us and everyone else out. Very professional and nice.

Just days before closing on my home that I was selling, another inspection company found an issue but said they couldn't address the issue for another 2-3 weeks. I was in a panic!

The realtor recommended Stuth Company. Katrina at Stuth was so understanding. She jumped on the phone with the guys out in the field and they were able to squeeze me in at the last minute. I know it meant long hours for everyone, but they had the needed report to me by 8 am on Monday. And then they apologized for the price!

They came through, fixed the issue, filed everything with the county and we were able to close on time. Their willingness to go above and beyond saved me thousands of dollars in the long run. I can not thank you enough!

I can't say enough good things about Stuth. Katrina is so responsive and has wonderful customer service. In an emergency, they are ON IT. We are a church and today had a pipe issue and have a 300+ person funeral in a few hours. They are jumping right on this issue for us and very understanding. We've had nothing but great service with them.

I used Stuth for a septic pump-out in Feb. 2016. I had read the Yelp reviews, noticed someone had a complaint with their service, and Stuth management took time to responded to the complaint. That they bothered to state their side of the story carried significant weight in my selection, as it showed that were at least concerned with with their reputation. Other companies I reviewed in similar situations did not bother to do so.
In comparing prices, I received three quotes and all were within $40 of each other.

Pro's:
1. They showed up when they stated they would.
2. The representative was easy to work with, and educated me on some aspects of the low pressure septic system, which has two tanks.
3. He educated me that I had a filter in this system (what filter!?) which is supposed to be cleaned ever 6 months to a year (depending on your reference source). The Stuth representative said every 6 months. No one had told me this before, even the company who pumped the tank in 2006 failed to point this out.

Neutral:
1. This did cost more than the original quote, BUT the email sent when I asked for a quote included all such costs which may be incurred during a pump-out. I was asked what services I wanted to authorize and told the expected costs for the extras at the time. We had waited too long in having ours pumped (10 years, when we will now go with a 5 year maximum between pump-outs), so I'm not surprised that extra costs were incurred.

Con's:
1. The only issue that can be put in this category is they could not accommodate my requested time of a late afternoon call, after 2 PM. This was due to our geographic location with respect to their office. Others may have better luck in this regard depending on where you live.

NOTE: If you have a two tank system such as mine where the second tank contains the pump for the low pressure system, try and coordinate the pump-out to occur just after you have had the pump operate via its timer. I can hear mine actuate as the panel is near the living room, it may be more difficult to determine if in a remote location. Mine has a manual over-ride capability in the control panel which can force the pump cycle to occur as well. I say this because the service will measure the sludge in the second tank, and the amount of gallons in that tank will determine the costs if you authorize them to pump that tank out as well. I was lucky in that my pump had operated and the tank was relatively low when they arrived, and this reduced the costs for the extra service. Just thought I'd mention that.

I will use them again. Now to remember to check that filter!!!..........................Toukow

PS: Usual disclaimer- I have no affiliation with this company or any of its employees.

We were having a septic problem - tank was in alarm over the weekend. On Monday, I tried about eight different local firms. Most never called me back. The ones I talked to were booked out for days or weeks.

Stuth Company had a committed job so they really couldn't spend a lot of time on my issue, but they were kind enough to come out the same day to take a quick look. For this particular problem, it was a quick fix so they addressed it right on the spot.

I was happy that Stuth has a person working the front-office and scheduling. They returned my calls and set expectations. I was happy that they were able to be creative in scheduling to get problem solved. I don't expect that can be the norm for Stuth or any area septic business - everyone's got an emergency and there aren't that many companies that provide the service. I was pleased though -- Stuth is a reputable and service oriented company.

Hired Stuth to do a Operations and Maintenance inspection on a home for sale. They were very proud of the 300 years of combined experience they brought to the business. An as built drawing from the county was provided to them and the O&M Report ordered. After several visits to the site they could not locate the tank. They got specific guidance and had a map! On one visit the Stuth man smirked ""good luck"" and drove away.
A friend dug up the tank in no time and Stuth did the the report. They charged $250 additional for not digging up the tank and held up the closing of the property. The owner said ""pay up or get someone else, we'll rip up the report"".
The Realtor stepped in and paid the extra being embarrassed that Stuth was one of the companies recommended.
They clearly have too much business to care about such a small deal even though their web site says ""no project is too big or too small!"".
